NEET UG 2020 Mop-Up Round Allotment Result has been released on 17th December 2020. The Cut Off has been released.  The Exam Date has been Revised, the Exam was held on 13th September 2020. It is clarified by the HRD Ministry of India Government. NEET is referred to as the National Eligibility Entrance Test it is a national level entrance test for Medical students. This exam is organized by the NTA Agency once in years for candidates to provided admissions into MBBS/BDS & Other Medical Courses

NEET 2020 Exam is a Single Entrance Exam for Medical Course. New Changes Introduced Last Year

On the proposal of the Union Health Ministry, MCI approved several changes in the NEET UG entrance exam. Below we have listed the new changes introduced last year:

  • Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have joined a 15% All India Quota scheme. Candidates of these states need not submit the Self Declaration form now.
  • Aadhaar Card is also not compulsory to fill the NEET Application. But, candidates have to require any ID proof to apply for the exam.
  • Indian candidates who wish to pursue MBBS/BDS as foreign nationals, have to qualify for the NEET UG exam.
  • The attempt limit has been removed from the last year. Now, candidates may attempt the NEET until the age limit as per their categories.
  • NIOS or State Open School or private candidates’ are not eligible for the NEET exam.
  • There will be one set for question paper in all languages.
  • As per officials, the exam will be bilingual (except for the language chosen in English).

NEET Application Form 2020

NEET 2020 Application Form has been Released on 2nd December 2019, and the Last date for filling the Application submitted till 6th January 2020. The applicants who are interested in NEET 2020 can apply for the examination before the last date of application. 

NEET is the gateway to offer admission to deserving applicants in MBBS and BDS courses at the best colleges in India. Apply before the due date if candidates submit after the due dates, an application will not be accepted. 

The application form can be filled through an online, official portal. Fill in all detail as in the given format. And also upload scanned images of photograph, signature.

  • The Application Form has been issued only in online mode.
  • Applications will not be addressed in offline mode.
  • The application form of NEET 2020 has been released on 2nd December 2019.
  • The last date to fill the application form will be till  6th January 2020.
  • Applicants must download the scanned images of the photograph and the original signature of the size of the passport.
  • After completing the application form, a confirmation page will be generated. Download it
  • It will not be necessary to send the printed confirmation page to the board.
  • Visit the official website of NEET.
  • Fill in all the necessary details like personal, contact, domicile, qualification, etc.
  • Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, and index finger impression in the prescribed format.
  • Make the fee payment using online and offline mode.
  • After the fee payment, take the printout of the confirmation page of the application form and keep it safe for further use.

NEET UG Application Correction 2020

NEET UG 2020 Application Correction has been Re-Started from 6th July – 20th July 2020. A one-time opportunity will be provided by the board to correct the applications. Details regarding correction in the application are mentioned below:-

  • Corrections can be done only through online mode.
  • Candidates have been Available to do NEET 2020 Application Form Correction from 15th January to 31st January 2020.
  • Candidates will be intimated through e-mail/SMS regarding correction in photo photograph and signature. The same will be available in the candidate‟s login account.
  • Candidates will be notified through SMS/e-mail regarding correction in photograph or signature.

Candidates can also make corrections in particular fields like:

  • Date of birth
  • Identification Identity
  • Gender
  • The state code of eligibility
  • Category
  • The medium of the exam paper
  • Disability status
  • Examination Center
  • Qualifying Examination Code & Percentage (%) of Marks Obtained in Class 12th
  • Parents Name (Father’s & Mother’s)
  • In case of any additional fee, candidates can pay through debit/credit card and net banking.

NEET Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Candidates should be Indian Nationals or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).

Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar card is mandatory for all candidates except belonging to Assam, J&K, and Meghalaya state.

J&K, Assam & Meghalaya candidates can also apply by providing their passport number, ration card number, bank account number, or any other valid Government ID number.

NRI candidates can apply by Adhaar Card number or Passport Number.

PIO, OCI & Foreign nationals candidates can apply by Passport Number.

Age Limit:

Minimum– The minimum age limit is 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission.
Maximum – The maximum age limit is 25 years as of the date of examination with a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and PwD Candidates.

Accordingly, the eligibility conditions regarding age limit have been revised as under:

For Candidates of General (UR)/General-EWS born on or before 31st December 2003
For Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD Category


Candidates may attempt the exam only three times until they cross the maximum age limit. NEET will be counted as 1 Attempt for all the candidates.


Students must have passed/appearing 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, or any other elective subject with English.

Mandatory Subjects:

Students in their 12th level must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.


Candidates in the 12th level must have secured a minimum of 50% marks for General categories; 45% marks for PH & 40% marks for SC/ST category candidates in the PCB group.


Candidates who are appearing in their qualifying exam or waiting for their results are also eligible for NEET (UG).

Qualification Eligibility: 

Qualifying exam Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam.
Appearing Candidates Students appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible.
Subjects In the qualifying exam, students should have physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology with English as the compulsory subject.
percentage criteria Minimum 50% marks for general, 45% marks for PH, and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates in the PCB group.
  • Percentage Criteria: Students must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the PCB group for general candidates and 45% (for general PH) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC categories).

NEET 2020 Exam Pattern

  • Courses: It is held for MBBS/BDS courses.
  • Number of Questions: The question paper contained a total of 180 multiple choice questions with a single correct answer.
  • Subjects: The paper was asked from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany.
  • Language: The question paper was available in 10 words.
  • Mode of Exam: The exam was conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based mode).
  • Duration: The exam duration was 3 hours.
  • Marking Scheme: 4 marks are awarded for each correct response.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer as negative

NEET 2020 Admit Card

NEET Admit Card contains details like Name, Roll Number, Date Of Birth, Centre, And Address, etc. of candidates. If candidates fail to bring a Hall ticket at the time of exams, candidates will not allow attaining exams in centers.

NTA will provide NEET 2020 Admit Card by 26th August 2020. Admit card will be made available through online mode. The board will also send admit card (copy) in PDF format to candidates registered email ID. Candidates will have to also fix their passport size photograph on the admit card.

After submitting the application form, candidates start searching for the admit card. Admit cards will be issued in July 2020.

Authority will release the admit card through online mode.

The admit card will contain the exam schedule, exam center details, candidate’s roll number, etc.

NEET UG Answer Key 2020

The response key will be published with the OMR responses through the online mode. The NEET 2020 key will be released the week after the exam. NEET 2020 Answer Key will be released in the second week of September 2020.

Through the answer key, candidates will be able to check their answers & can predict their marks on the entrance test. Candidates will have to log in through their user ID & password to check the answer key.

The board will offer the possibility to challenge the answer key. Applicants must pay Rs. 1000 / – by the response to challenge the answer key. Applicants should visit their login portal. Enter your user ID (registration number) and password to challenge the answer key.

NEET 2020 Result 2020

The NEET Result has been publishing on 16th October 2020 the official portal of authority. Candidates can download their effect from 4th June. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number and other required details on the website.

  • NEET 2020 Result has been displayed on the notice board of concerned faculty/college/center/proctor’s office/controller’s website.
  • It is a result that has been announcing on 16th October 2020.

NEET 2020 Merit List

NTA will release NEET 2020 Merit list through online mode. The merit list of the successful & eligible candidates who will opt. For 15% of All India Quota seats will be by marks obtained in the NEET (UG) 2020. Admission to MBBS/BDS within a respective category will be based on All India Rank (AIR) as per the merit list.

The merit list will be prepared in percentile determined, which will be my highest marks. Also, there will be tie-breaking criteria for candidates who will score equal or the same marks. As per the rules of tie-breaking standards, preference will be given in the below order:

  • Candidates who will score the highest marks in Biology (Zoology or Botany).
  • Candidates who will score the highest marks in Chemistry.
  • Candidates who will attempt less number of incorrect answers in all the subjects.
  • If even after applying all the above rules, the tie remains, then students who will be older will be considered.

NEET 2020 Reservation Policy

NEET UG 2020 Rank List

  • The Board will prepare a list of merits as indicated by DGHS, MCI, and DCI.
  • The merit list will be prepared for the 15% All India fee.
  • Students will be invited to receive counseling according to their classification on the NEET UG exam.

NEET Cut Off 2020

Candidates will have to score more than the NEET 2020 Cut-Off marks to qualify for the examination. The Cut-off will depend upon various factors like no. of candidates appearing in the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, students’ performance, etc.

Looking back at previous trends, the minimum cut-off percentile to qualify for the exam is 50% for the general category & 45% for the PH category, and 40% for other reserved types. After releasing the cut-off, the authority will also release a cut-off under 15% of All India Quota seats for different categories.

Candidates have to secure marks more than cut off to qualify for the examination. Candidates can check details about NEET 2020 Cut off from below:

  • The threshold will depend on several factors, such as the number of candidates that have appeared on the exam, the student’s performance, the difficulty level of the review, etc.

NEET Counselling 2020

NEET Counselling is held for qualifying candidates of NEET, which includes document verification, applying, choice filling, and seat allocation in web-based mode. The counseling procedure is done for the qualified candidates of NEET, by their Merit in NEET. It is informed to the students that they should keep safe the Filled in Online Application Form until the process of admission gets over.

NEET 2020 Counselling will be held through online mode. The counseling will start from 27th October 2020. Candidates will have to attend the counseling process, which will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The authority will also release seats other than 15% All India Quota. In this case, the counseling authority will draw the merit list of the candidate in the respective category.

  • The admit card and the scorecard must produce by the student when they called for verification of documents.
  • The Information Booklet for NEET 2020 Counseling will be released on the counseling portal.
  • The list of colleges for allotment of seats in each course with intake in each discipline and category will also notify by the exam authority.
