UPES Admission 2023 Application Form has been Released for Various Courses. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) provides full-time UG courses like a B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech, BCA, BBA, BA, B.Des, and 2 Year LLB. On the postgraduate level, the university offers an M.Tech, MBA, MA (Eco.), M.Des, M.Plan & LL.M programs. Full-time and part-time Ph.D. Programs are also available at the University.

UPES Admission Criteria is a split examination pathway and non-examination pathway categories. For the examination route, admission is given through entrance exams carried out by the UPES while for the non-examination pathway, admission is being done on a merit basis or score in national level entrance exams. UPES application form can be filled in both online as well as while offline about the payment of INR 1350 as the application fee.

UPES offers an MBA program in 15 fields for the entire duration of two years. Candidates have to be eligible for UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET) in order to guarantee admission in this course. However, UPES is also proposing admission through Non-Examination Pathway, i.e, on the basis of score in any National Level entrance examination such as CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ NMAT or XAT. The ultimate choice will depend on the score in the entrance followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

UPES Admission 2022 Application Form has been Released for Various Courses. The application form can be supplemented online for all UG & PG courses offered by UPES. Students are strongly advised to follow the below-listed steps to apply for the courses proposed by the UPES: Online Application:

• Visit the official website of UPES and click on the ‘UPES Admission’ tab from the menu bar.
• Click on ‘Online Application Form’ from the drop-down menu.
• Fill in the requested information and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• After form submission, you will receive an email from UPES to verify your e-mail address &creating an account on the UPES website.
• Now login to the website and fill in the rest of the particulars.
• Submit the Application Form and pay for the application fee of INR 1350 by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.
• Save the duly completed application form for future use.

• The minimum eligibility to submit an application is 50% marks in class 10 and 10+2 along with 50% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
• For admission through the Non-examination pathway, applicants must have 50% marks in 10+2 as with PCM subjects for board merit and 50% marks in 10+2 and PCM subjects for JEE Main merit.
• The merit of JEE Main would be announced on the website of UPES following the announcement of JEE Main Result. The per result of JEE Main centralized counseling will be administered through Merit Ranking.

UPES 2022 Admission Procedure

UPES admission is based on the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) through the examination pathway and also builds on the JEE Main/10+2 merit through the Non-examination pathway. Aspirants can apply online through the official website or purchasing the application form from the admission centers. UPES admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of performance in UPESEAT followed by central counseling.

Candidates born only after October 1, 1998, are eligible for UPES admission in various courses. 80% of seats will be filled out through UPESEAT followed by centralized counseling. 20% of seats will be filled through the board / JEE Main merit category. In the case of vacant seats in the non-examination pathway, the university also fills out the seats through UPESEAT.

UPES also has the right to perform further physical (paper-pencil test) / online tests for admission in case of vacant seats. For the Non-examination category, candidates should submit their 10+2 and JEE Main scores to participate in the selection process. Candidates from Uttarakhand State Board should have 80% marks in 10+2 and PCM.
