AILET 2020 4th Provisional Merit List for LLM Course has been released on 19th October 2020. The Merit List has been released now. All India Law Entrance Test is well known as AILET. This exam is conducted every year on the first Sunday of May by National Law University (NLU), New Delhi. Candidates will get admission By their score in AILET. Through these candidates can get admission in BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and Ph.D. Programs Offered at NLU, New Delhi.
Eighty-three seats are available for the BA LLB (Hons) course and 40 in the LLM course. Through this exam, candidates can get admission in 1 year LL.M, 5-year B.A. LL.B., and Ph.D. programs. After qualifying for this exam, candidates will be able to get admission to National Law University in all over India. In the BA LLB program, there are 73 seats available for admission on merit through AILET followed by ten places that are open for direct access to Foreign Nationals on merit.
The rest of one position is reserved for Kashmiri Migrants and two seats for residents of Jammu and Kashmir. For 35+5 seats are for LLM program admission for Foreign Nationals. Here, the Exam Date of AILET 2020 is provided, candidates should know the events which will be held on particular dates: Candidates can check below AILET 2020 Important Dates regarding the examination: Candidates want admission needs to fill application on the official website of NLU, New Delhi. Through online mode, candidates will be able to fill the demand. The Application Form for the AILET entrance exam has been provided to candidates from 15th January 2020 (of the exam year). Candidates can get here the Application Form details: Candidates have to pay application fees according to candidate category wise. General Category candidates have to pay Rs 3,000, SC/ST Category/Persons with Disability (PWD) –Rs 1,000, and for SC/ST candidate from below the poverty line there is No Fee. Application fees payment can be made through online mode (debit card/ credit card/ net banking). The application fees for different categories are given below in the table: The AILET 2021 Exam is managed by the National Law University, Delhi to offer admission to the applicants in undergraduate law programs at the National Law University, Delhi. The AILET 2021 Application Form will be available from 1st week of January to the 3rd week of April. Candidates have to check the criteria to apply for AILET for BA LLB (Hons) course admissions. Candidates had to pass the 10+2 examination and scored a minimum of 50%. And also candidates can apply who are appearing for 10+2 examinations in the year of the AILET can also apply provided they meet the above condition at the time of admission. Check the criteria before filling the application for admission. Qualifying Exam: A candidate must pass the LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Qualifying Exam: Candidate must hold a master’s degree in Law from the recognized university. In AILET entrance exam for BA LLB (Hons) course question comprises of 150 questions which candidates have to complete in 1 hour 30 minutes. AILET exam pattern is such that the test paper is divided into five sections. Five sections are such as English, Basic Mathematics, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. Candidates can score 150 Maximum marks on the AILET Entrance Exam. Here, candidates can check the AILET Exam Pattern in Details: Select the best books & study material for best authors/publications. Candidates appearing for the law entrance exam have to complete the paper within one and a half hour duration. English section will include the questions from vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, word usage, Para jumble, grammar, reading comprehension, and foreign words/ phrases, etc. In this section, important topics are strict liability, the law of crimes, torts, vicarious liability, contracts, and constitutional law, legal awareness and international law, etc. Logical reasoning will be based on the topics series, directions, syllogism, analogies, blood relations, critical reasoning, etc. This section will include questions from current affairs, sports, awards and honors, internal events, UN bodies, history, general science, economics, geography, civics, eminent personalities, etc. Authority will announce Admit Card one month before the exam. The AILET 2020 Admit Card has been available to the students who will successfully submit their online Application Form. The Admit Card will be available on 15th September 2020 in online mode. AILET 2020 Answer Key has been released via online mode. The exam authority will release the answer key after a few days of examination. The Answer Key will be available in PDF format. The merit list will be prepared by Cut Off marks. The authority will release cut off for each law program. It is an estimate based on the previous records and is very much likely to remain the same. Note: One additional seat has been reserved for Kashmiri migrants, and two supernumerary seats for Residents of Jammu & Kashmir will be kept for the admission purpose. Ph.D. Program: For the Ph.D. program, the total number of available seats is 5. National Law University conducts counseling after the release of the Result. After the declaration of the result, AILET 2020 Counseling will be conducted by the authority. Counseling will be held in offline Mode at the campus of National Law University, Delhi. Counseling will be done by the merit list. Candidates will be allowed seats in colleges/universities those who have scored good marks in the entrance exam.
