Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology set up by the MHRD, Government of India underneath the Indian Institutes of Information Technology Act, 2017. It received the status of Institute of National Importance in accordance with the law. Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Vadodara was established in the year 2013. IIIT Vadodara provides you with a 4-year full-time B.Tech. in Computer Science & Information Technology, 2-year M.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering and Ph.D. in Engineering and Science. Candidates can request courses by filling an online application form.

Candidates who have been qualified GATE/ CSIR UGC NET/ UGC NET/ UGC-JRF will be given preference over the period admission. Applicants to B.Tech. must have notched 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical as major subjects. Entrance to B.Tech. conducted on the basis of a valid score in JEE Main. In Order To M.Tech, candidates must have an M.Tech degree with 60% marks in aggregate. Selection to M.Tech. will be based on scores in GATE.

Candidates who look for admission to the Ph.D. program should have a  Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent or an M.Phil degree with Mathematics as a major subject. IIIT Vadodara Admission 2024 Application Form will be Releasing soon for Various Courses. Students to apply for a B.Tech., M.Tech. or Ph.D. programs provided by the IIIT-V will have to fill an online application form for admissions. Following are steps to apply:

• Visit the official website of the institute
• Browse to the ‘Admission’ tab and then click on the course of your choice
• Click on ‘online application form’
• Fill the form with care and submit it
• Take a transcript of the application form

IIIT Vadodara 2024 Admissions Process

Indian Institute of Information Technology offers B.Tech in 2 main specializations. The basic eligibility to apply for a course is 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as main subjects. The final selection of the candidates would be based on merit in JEE Main followed by the merit in the qualification exam.

IIIT Vadodara provides you with a 2-year full-time M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering. The minimum eligibility to be applied is B.Tech./BE degree with 50% marks in aggregate. The final selection of the candidates will be based upon GATE scores as well as the overall academic record of the candidate.

It is offered in two key disciplines of Engineering and Science by IIIT Vadodara. The basic eligibility to apply for a Ph.D. program is a Master’s degree in the relevant field. Admission to Ph.D. draws on a written exam followed by an interview. GATE/ CSIR/UGC-NET/ UGC-JRF eligible candidates will be preferred during the admission process.

The final merit list will be established on the basis of the performance in the written exam and interview. Final year candidates may also apply for admission to the course. GATE / CSIR/ UGC-NET/ UGC-JRF eligible candidates will be given preference during admission.

Candidates with An M.Tech/ ME in CS/ IT/ ECE/ Material Science/ Nano-Technology/ Applied Optics/ Engineering Physics/ Scientific Computing are eligible for admission. Ones with theM.Sc in Applied Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Computer Science are eligible for admission.
