MH CET Law 2020 Registration

Candidates need to get registered their application for that Candidates have to fill MHCET Law application form online on the official website of MHCET law entrance exam. Fill and apply for the due dates as mentioned.

Candidates are advised to download the information brochure and read it carefully before starting the MH CET Law 2020 registration:

  • Candidates are firstly required to register
  • MH CET Law 2020 registration will be stared in March 2020.
  • MH CET Law 2020 Application form for three years course will be available for the candidates in the third week of April 2020 and for five years course in the second week of January 2020.
  • The last date to fill the application form for three years course will be till the third week of May 2020 and for five years course till the second week of March 2020.
  • Candidates have to enter the valid mobile number and email for further communication purpose.
  • After filling the form and paying the fees, candidates can take a printout of the application form.

Application Fee:

MHCET Law Application Fee for General category candidates from Maharashtra State and J & K migrant candidates is Rs 800, for Outside Maharashtra State Candidates is Rs 800 and for Reserved category candidates from the state of Maharashtra (ST, SC, VJ/DT (NT-A), NT-1(B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC and SBC) is Rs 400.

MH CET Law 2020 Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must check full eligibility criteria pf MHCET law entrance exam.  To apply Candidates should be Indian citizens to be eligible to apply for MHCET Law.

Candidates have to fulfill all the below-mentioned eligibility criteria to get admission in five-year integrated law programs offered in government law colleges in the state of Maharashtra check whether you are eligible to apply for it or not

Candidates can apply after satisfying the given below eligibility criteria including nationality, residential and qualification:

  • Nationality: A candidate should be an Indian national.
  • Domicile: Candidate should have the house of Maharashtra Candidate studied from Maharashtra state, or their parents are employed in the country are also eligible to apply. Or candidate’s whose parents belong to Maharashtra can also use.
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing the exam.

General Eligibility:

  • Nationality: Indian national candidates can apply.
  • International Applicants: Foreign Nationals/PIO/OCI or NRI candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • Age: No upper age limit prescribed to apply.

For Three-Year LLB Course:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate should be a graduate or postgraduate from a recognized institution/university.
  • Marks Required: Minimum 45% marks are required in UG or PG degree taken together for open category candidates, and minimum 40% marks are required for the SC/ST candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra only.

For Five-Year LLB Course:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates who have completed their intermediate or equivalent exam from a recognized board/university or who are in 12th standard are eligible to apply.
  • Marks Required: Minimum 45% marks are required for open category candidates, 40% marks for SC/ST candidates of Maharashtra and 42% marks for OBC/SEBC/VJNT/SBC candidates of Maharashtra.

Qualification Eligibility:

LLB (5 years) course: Candidate must pass the 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board.

  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have 45% in the qualifying exam (40% for reserved categories).
  • LLB (3 years) course: Candidate must hold the graduate or postgraduate degree from any recognized institution in any stream.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have 45% in the qualifying exam (40% for reserved categories).
  • Appearing Candidates: Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

MH CET Law 2020 Exam Pattern

  •  The examination will be conducted through online mode (CBT).
  • Candidates who are attaining MHCET Law exam have to complete their papers in 2 hours
  • And the paper pattern is such that the test comprises of 150 objective type questions.
  • Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for law admissions made question papers in both two languages English and Marathi languages.
  • The marking scheme for MH-CET for both LLB (5 years) and LLB (3 years) course admissions is such that for every correct answer candidates will be awarded one mark
  • And there is no negative marking in the exam.

MH CET LAW 2020 Exam held for 3-year LLB program contains 150 MCQs. Each question carries one mark. The exam is divided into four sections namely:

  • Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning

  • English

There is NO negative marking and the time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

MH CET Law 2020 Syllabus

  • MHCET Law for LLB (5 years) Admission in that question will be asked from Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge of Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, English and Mathematical Aptitude.
  • And for MHCET Law for LLB (3 years) Admissions Subject Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge of Current Affairs, Logical & Analytical Reasoning and English.

  • Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning: Study of Law, Legal Aptitude and Problem-Solving Ability, Legal Prepositions, Conclusion-based Questions.
  • General Knowledge with Current Affair: The topics such as History, Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics and Current Affair of the past year. General Awareness about the world is also included in the syllabus.
  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning: Patterns, Logical links, Illogical arguments, Analogies, Arguments Completing, Drawing well Supported Conclusions, Reasoning by Analogies, Relationships, Logical Conclusions.
  • English: Vocabulary, Proficiency, English based errors, English Comprehension.
  • Mathematical Aptitude: This section is to test the numerical abilities of the candidates. Questions will be of the 10th standard level including Profit and Loss, Algebra, Time, Speed and Distance, Time and Work, Average, Venn Diagram, etc.

MH CET Law 2020 Admit Card

Candidates have to download MH-CET law hall ticket from the official website of the exam. MH CET Law 2020 Hall Ticket for a five-year degree course will be available from the second week of August 2020 through online mode. Candidates can download their e-admit cards by filling their registration number and password. Intimation for downloading the admit card will be sent through via e-mail/SMS to the candidates.

  • For that candidates have to enter their registration ID.
  • An admit card is a mandatory document which candidates have to keep safe.
  • Without a valid admit card candidate will not be allowed to attend the law entrance exam if they are not carrying a valid admit card to their test center on the day of the exam.
  • Keep it safe till the examination get over.

MH CET Law 2020 Result

MH CET Law 2020 Result for the five-year course will be published in the second week of May 2020. Candidates can view the result on the website with the help of their roll number/ registration number. For the three-year course, the result will be declared in the fourth week of June 2020. Candidates can view their result in by entering the required details.

MH CET Law 2020 Counselling process for the five-year course will start from the third week of May 2020 and for a three-year course of law counseling will get started from the first week of July 2020. Candidates will get be intimated through email/SMS regarding the process of counseling. Counseling will start after the declaration of result and will be organized based on the merit list published with the result.

  • Candidates name will be shortlisted for admission by their score/rank in MH-CET law entrance exam.
  • Candidates have to take part in the counseling round which is held as a Centralised Admission Process (CAP) that is conducted by Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra.
  • Carry all requirements document for verification purposes.

Candidates need to bring their original documents and a set of photocopies of all the documents required for counseling which are listed below:
