NIFT 2023 Application Form has been released on 1st November 2022. Candidates who are interested to apply can get the application through online mode on the official portal. As per the instruction is given on the prospectus candidates have to fill the application form.

Application Fee

Candidates should complete and submit the application form online before the due dates mentioned. Candidates have to pay Application Fees as per the category. NIFT 2023 Application Fees Payment can be done online mode.

• (for all candidates other than the foreign national/SAARC/NRI category)
• Non-Refundable Fee for General/OBC (Non-Creamy) Category: Rs.2000/- through payment gateway or Demand Draft.
• Non-Refundable Fee for SC/ ST/ PWD Category: Rs.1000/- through payment gateway or Demand Draft.
• The fee can be submitted through credit card/debit card and net banking.
• In case the payment is through DD, it will be drawn in favor of “NIFT HO” payable at New Delhi.
• The application fee will be non-refundable in any case.

• Through the online mode, the candidates can fill the application form from the official website of the National Institute of Fashion Technology.
• Candidates have to register themselves as per the schedule and after that, they can fill the application form.
• Till the last week of December, candidates can fill the application form without paying the late fee
• The late application fee will be charged to candidates in the first week of January, which will be after the last date of submission and the late fee is Rs. 5000/-.
• Applicants need to upload their scanned images i.e. photographs & signatures in a JPEG format.
• After filling the application form, candidates have to take the printout of the application form for future use.

NIFT Eligibility Criteria 2023

The NIFT Eligibility Criteria have mentioned below for candidates and the candidates have to check it before filling the application form through online mode.

Age Criteria

The upper age of candidates should be 23 years old as of the 1st week of October 2023 for undergraduate courses.

• There is a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved category candidates.
• For PG courses, there is no age limit.

For Under Graduate Courses

• Candidates must pass their 10+2 examination from any recognized Central/State Board.
• Candidates who complete a 3 or 4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education are also eligible.
• Appearing Candidates can also apply

For Post Graduate Courses

• Candidates have to qualify for a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• For M.Des courses, diploma candidates from NIFT/NID can also apply.
• Appearing Candidates are also eligible to apply.

NIFT 2023 Application Correction

NIFT 2023 Application Form Correction (Edit) will be Started in January 2023. Candidates have been given the facility by the authority to make changes or to make a correction in NIFT 2023 application form.

• The correction facility will be provided by the authority from January 2023.
• The candidates can access the correction facility to edit the information submitted in the application form.
• However, candidates cannot change their preference for the exam city center.
• The correction/modification can be done in person and education qualification details.
• Once the correction window will be closed, no candidates have been allowed for further correction.
