The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions is the full form of TNEA and it is conducted by Anna University. Anna University is a popularly known university in Tamil Nadu. The TNEA 2022 Counseling Registration has been started on 20th June 2022. and those candidates are shortlisted in the merit list by the admission committee, only they can attend the counseling procedure at the counseling venue.

All the selected candidates have to compulsorily attend the counseling procedure with the necessary documents. At the Chennai Campus, counseling will be held for candidates.

Based on seat availability, document verification, and merit list, the seat allotment will be done in the counseling session. Candidates will get the call letter for counseling through online mode.

TNEA 2022 cut-off will be released After the Result. The cut-off marks are the minimum marks that will be fixed by Anna University to screen the candidates for further rounds of the admission process.

TNEA 2022 Counselling Call letter 

The TNEA Counseling call letter will be offered by the admission authority to the shortlisted candidates on their Email ID.

The candidates have to download the call letter on which the date, time, and address of counseling will be mentioned for candidates. Applicants have to take the printout of the call letter for future proof.

Candidates have to carry the call letter at the counseling center and candidates must be present at the counseling venue.

Counselling Steps

The candidates have to check the following steps mentioned below. The counselling will be conduct through offline mode.

Candidates have to attend the counselling in-person or authorized their parents or guardians to attend it in case of unseen circumstances.

Payment of TNEA Counseling fee 

Candidates have to pay the counselling fee at the bank counter due to reporting at the counselling centre. The candidates have to submit the call letter to pay the fee. On the bank counter, the fee will be remittance.

Students will get the receipt from the bank of paying the fee at the counselling session. The receipt or challan photocopy should be done by candidates for future use.

Those students have not got the call letter; they are required to come two hours before the counselling session begins along with their original documents for verification.

Verification of Documents at Counseling

Candidates have to carry all the required documents at the counselling centre after paying the fee for document verification.

• Candidates should arrange their certificates for verification and only one person can come with the candidates to the counselling centre.
• All of the verification documents should be original and after that candidates will be allowed to go for the next procedure.
• After the successful verification, the candidates will be select for admission to Anna University.
• Those will not be eligible or found any discrepancies; the candidates will be rejected at the counselling centre.

Required Documents for Submission at Counseling

TNEA Seat Allotment

According to the ranking of candidates, the seat will be available for them after shortlisting and in the counselling session, the candidates have to select 5-10 choices of colleges as branch wise in the required field. Candidates have to make three choices out of which they are allotted one subject to availability.

The students have to collect the allotment order from the allotment order section after the seat allotment and on that allotment order; candidates have to verify the course and colleges

Before the last date of enrolment, candidates have to take the allotment order to the respective college.

The admission will be done under seven categories such as OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA, and ST reservation. The Government of Tamil Nadu has made these rules, which should be followed by candidates.

ST / SC / SCA / MBC & DNC / BC / BCM candidates are eligible for selection under Open Competition in addition to the reservation made for them.
