AIIMS 2018 Counselling Registration (Open Round) is starting from 10th August 2018. AIIMS stands for All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) which have 7-institution group in India. Seven institutions are premier medical institutions providing the Medical (MBBS /MD /MS /Nursing /Paramedical /Health Science) education.AIIMS 2018 Admit Card will be released from 10th May 2018.

AIIMS entrance exam is a national level examination.Which is controlled by the (AIIMS)All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. AIIMS MBBS exam is provided to those students who wants admission in the MBBS program offered by AIIMS, New Delhi, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Bhubaneswar, Patna, and Raipur.

The dates of the AIIMS 2018 exam have now been published. The AIIMS 2018 exam is a national review, which is regulated by the Institute of Medical Sciences of All India in New Delhi. The AIMS MBIM exam will be taken into account to provide admission to the MBBS program offered by AIIMS, New Delhi, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Bhubnaeswar, Patna and Raipur. The AIIMS exam will be organized to offer admission to the 700 MBBS seats offered by AIIMS institutions.

AIIMS 2018 Answer Key

The answer key has been released by coaching institutions on 28th May 2018. Answer key help student to count estimate score in the entrance exam. Through answer, a key candidate can check their answer which they have written in exams so that candidate will able to predict their performance before the declaration of result.

Candidate can judge their performance and count their rough marks so that they can prepare for counseling for admission. If a candidate has any dough or finds any discrepancy relates answer key they can send the objection suggestion to the controllers.

Rarely it seems mistake because AIIMS answer key is prepared with extreme and utmost responsibility so, it is rarely seeming mistakes and error in answer key question.

AIIMS Admit Card 2018

Students can get the admit card via online mode through the website on 10th May 2018. students who have submitted their hall ticket to office successfully for the exam can get the hall ticket. Admit cards/Hall ticket will be released in official portal. No offline admit card/hall ticket will be submitted to a candidate in their residential address.

Admit card contain candidate-related information like roll no., candidate center, name etc. keep hall ticket safe till the completion of exams. candidate have to take responsibility for their own hall ticket because if it miss-place candidate will be not allowed to write question paper.

Below are given some information about admit card which candidate should know.

  • Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be able to get theAIIMS hall ticket.
  • Students can get the admit card via online mode through the website.
  • The admit card will not be sent by post.
  • Candidates are not allowed to appear in the examination without producing a valid admit card.
  • Admit card will contain details like roll number, exam center, exam date, time, etc.

AIIMS Application Form 2018

Through online mode, a candidate can fill and submit their AIIMS application form. NO offline application available for a candidate but fees can be paid by online as well as offline. The application will be available from 1st  week of Februray and it is available only until mid or last week of February.If the candidate wants correction in his application, it can be done from 1st or 2nd week of March. It an official right of every candidate that they should get correction period but it will not provide further so if you want to change or want to do correction do before a due date.

The candidate is kindly requested to keep ready their scanned images of photograph, left thumb impression and signature in prescribed size and format to upload in the application form.

  • The application process will be started from 5th February 2018.

MBBS Exam Pattern

To score good marks in AIIMS examination candidate have to read the paper pattern and syllabus carefully. In exam 200 multiple choice and reason-Assertion type question will be asked to the candidate.

A candidate who give the correct answer there will get 1 marks if the candidate gives incorrect answer 1/3 marks will be deducted from question paper. Candidate can give exam through online mode AIIMS exams. Students will be given 3 a half hour to complete their paper.

  • Duration: The exam duration will be 3 ½ hours.
  • Exam Shifts: First Shift (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM) and Second Shift (3:00 PM to 6:30 PM).

Seat Reservation

Seat reservation for a candidate according to chart which is shown below. According to a different category, the seat is reserved some of following are 7.5% to ST, 15% SC, and 27% for OBC category, for Indian National.

Every College Keep 3% Of Reservation for Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped which will be on horizontal basis. Seat in new Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, etc are different for UR, OBC, SC, ST, OPH, and in Foreign are different.

Eligibility Criteria

All Different medical course offered slightly different AIIMS eligibility criteria. MBBS eligibility criteria are provided to students prescribed by AIIMS. Take a look at eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Students appearing in 12th standard are also eligible for admission.

Sometimes students fail to know about eligibility criteria which affect them in future. Candidate wants admission must be above 17 ages. Qualification of the candidate is eligible for admission, the candidate must have completed 12th from recognized boards with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.

Candidate qualified from 12thEnglish, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from secured marks minimum 60% for General/OBC, and minimum 50% marks for SC /ST / OPH are eligible for admission.

Eligibility Criteria

Students are suggested to check the eligibility criteria before applying. The detailed eligibility criteria is given below:

Here are some of the eligibility criteria:

  • Nationality: Indian Citizen, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) and Foreign Nationals.

  • Age: The minimum age limit is 17 years as on the 31st December of the year of admission. Students born on or after 2nd January 2002 are not eligible to apply.

  • Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English  Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.

  • Minimum Marks: Students must have obtained a minimum aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects which are 60% for general/OBC and 50% for SC/ST/OPH candidates.

AIIMS Counselling 2018

 For counseling, merit list is prepared according to ranks wise which will be released in the month of June. After the result, declare of AIIMS candidate will be invited for counseling. Exams are conducted by all India of Medical Science for admission in AIIMS, NEW DELHI across the country.

AIIMS MBBS counseling will be conducted offline candidate have to attend the counseling according to seat allotted as per their rank. Counseling will help students to select their favorite college according to their score.

  • Students will be called for counselling process, according to the merit list.
  • The counselling will be organized for all seven AIIMS via offline process at AIIMS, New Delhi.
  • For the counselling process, candidates have to appear at the specified time and venue mentioned in the counselling call letter.
  • Candidates have to mark their preferences as per their ranks.
  • Seats will be allotted to candidates, on the basis of rank, filled choices and seats availability.
  • After seat allotment, candidates have to appear at the allotted college to confirm admission.

 Suggestions for preparing AIIMS 2018

  • Gather all the details in the officially prescribed program.
  • Make an appropriate curriculum and divide your time also for all subjects.
  • Consider the appropriate study materials for test preparations and also include study materials from the previous year for the studies.
  • Mark difficult topics in the curriculum and discuss with your teachers, your tutor and your classmates.
  • Maintain your health, take a healthy diet and exercise and yoga.

AIIMS Cut-off 2018 

A candidate who comes in general candidate should get around 50%, for OBC candidate it is 45% while for SC/ST category candidate it is 40%. To pass in eligibility criteria candidate have to score given the percentage.

The different college has different cut off marks for different courses and category. Cut off marks will help students to get the rough idea which favorite college they want to choose.
