CCMT 2019: Registration, Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus

CCMT RegistrationCCMT is a Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./ M.Des. For admissions to all National Institutes of Technologies and several other institutes.

The other list of institutes that accept candidates through CCMT are IIITM Gwalior, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, IIITDM Kancheepuram, IIIT Vadodara, SLIET Longowal, NIFFT Ranchi, SPA Vijayawada, PEC Chandigarh, IIIT Allahabad, Central University of Rajasthan, University of Hyderabad, Central University of South Bihar Patna, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra and IIEST Shibpur.

The admission is granted based on the score of GATE. CCMT 2019 is organized by participating institutes rotationally. Last year, CCMT was arranged by National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi.

CCMT 2019 Registration Process 

  • The candidates who wish to apply for the  M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./ M.Des. courses offered at various NITs and other institutes have to pass the GATE entrance exam. If they have, then they may take part in the Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./ M.Des coordinated by NITs.
  • The candidate will first of all have to get himself/herself registered.
  • The link to register will be embedded on the official website of CCMT.
  • Here you will be required to fill, GATE SCORE, personal details, mobile number, email id, communication details, father name, qualifying examination details, bank details, uploading GATE score card etc.
  • Then you will have to pay the fees as per your category.
  • Then the 1st round of allotment will take place if you agree then accept the seat by paying seat acceptance amount and further on.

CCMT 2019 Registration Fees 

The amount that the candidates from the last had to pay was as follows:-

  • Rs. 2200/- for OB/OC
  • Rs. 1700/- for SC/ST/ PwD
  • The registration fees will be non-refundable.

CCMT 2019 Eligibility Criteria 

The candidates will be invited to attend the counseling only if they fulfill these requirements. Kindly note these points, and if there is any doubt, you may read the previous year brochure.

  • GATE Validity- Candidate must have a valid GATE score 2017/ 2018/ 2019.
  • Minimum marks requirement- Candidate must have secured a min. of 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates.
  • Result awaited- the result of qualifying degree is announced latest by 03rd week of September 2019, then they may apply.

CCMT 2019 Counselling Process

The counseling process will be completed in 3 stages.

Stage-1- Online Registration and Locking of Choices

  • At this stage, individuals who have cleared GATE 2017, 2018, 2019, shall be required to register themselves by paying the required amount.
  • The amount will have to be paid at the CCMT website during the indicated dates.
  • The fees will be paid in online mode using SBI MOPS (i.e.,. Net Banking/ Credit Card/Debit Card) or through e-Challan at any branch of SBI. Now indicate your choice of course.

Stage-2- Online Seat Allotment, Seat Acceptance fee deposit and Personal Reporting at a Reporting Center (RC)-

  • Concerned authority will offer a seat based on your indicated choice.
  • If you are willing, then pay the (Seat Acceptance Fee of Rs. 20,000/-) using available modes.
  • Now reach the allotted college and get your documents verified. (the list of documents is mentioned below.)
  • Upon satisfactory verification of documents, you will be issued a DVC (Document Verification Certificate).

Stage-3- Getting Admitted to ‘Allotted Institute’

  • Candidates who are offered seats during any round of seat allotment have to complete the seat confirmation process.
  • This can be done by paying the- Seat Confirmation Fee of Rs. 10,000/- through SBI MOPS (i.e.,. Net Banking/ Credit Card/Debit Card) or through e-Challan at any branch of SBI. Now indicate your choice of course.
  • Download your Provisional Seat Confirmation letter from the CCMT website
  • You may then proceed to attend classes at your respective institute.

Documents to be produced at the time of reporting at Regional Center

  • Print out of the Registration form and the locked choices.
  • Provisional seat allotment letter.
  • Self-attested copy of GATE score card (2017 or 2018 or 2019).
  • Photo id proof/ Transfer certificate (Original)
  • Birth certificate (Original) issued by the competent authority
  • Mark sheets of 12th class (original)
  • grade/ mark sheets of qualifying examination of all semesters (original)
  • degree/ provisional certificates
  • Caste certificate/ Conduct certificate/ PwD Certificate/ Migration certificate (original)
  • Undertaking by the candidate regarding OB status
  • Proof of payment of seat acceptance (fee of Rs. 20.000/-)
  • 3 passport size photographs
