JNUEE 2018 and CEEB Result marks and Cut Off Point 2018-19 has been declared.The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is the central level university and it has organized the entrance examination, which is commonly known as Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE). The JNU is providing the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses for candidates to make their career in future.

However pre-enrolment and admission shall be allowed only subject to seat availability and order of merit and such candidates shall have no claim whatsoever for admission in JNU.

JNU Admission 2018

The applicants will get admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University on the basis of the result of candidates. There are the various courses are offered by JNU for candidates such as postgraduate programs under Faculty of Arts, Commerce, and Science. Those candidates have applied to get admission, they have to be notified and update through the official website after filling the application form.The registrations for admissions is commence from 23rd July 2018.

As per the eligibility criteria, the candidates have to fill the application form to get admission in JNU.

JNU Result 2018

  • The result of the JNU 2018 entrance exam was declared online on February 25, 2018.
  • To verify the results of JNU 2018, students must select the study program and the field of study.
  • The result of the JNU for the CEEB examination was published on March 9, 2018.
  • Candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible for the next round of the selection process, that is, live-voce.
  • The list of merits for non-living applicants will be announced shortly.
  • A list of merits is prepared separately for candidates in the General Category, the Scheduled Caste Category, the Registered Tribal Category, the CBO Category and the Physical Disability Category for each program of study.

JNU Cut-Off 2018

JNU Admission Eligibility Criteria 2018

The candidates have to check the JNU admission eligibility criteria for various programs and it is mentioned below.

  • Those applicants have applied for M.Phil. /Ph.D. program, they have to pass their master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned language and subject.
  • Those applicants have applied for MA course program; they have to pass their bachelor’s degree 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 55% marks.
  • Those applicants have applied for A. (Hons.) 2nd-year program; they have to pass their first year or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can appear in the entrance examination only if they fulfill the eligibility requirements for the programmes for which they are seeking admission. JNU Eligibility for some popular courses is given in below table:

  • Passed/appearing 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks.
  • Certificate of Alimiah with atleast 45% marks and passed English Language subject at senor secondary level or a 3-years course conducted by Darul-Uloom  Deoband.
B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in German
  • First year of Bachelor’s degree or an examination recognized as equivalent with at least 50% marks under 10+2+3 pattern with proficiency in German.
B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year other than German
  • First year of Bachelor’s degree or an examination recognized as equivalent with at least 45% marks under 10+2+3 pattern with proficiency in concerned language.
M.A. in Economics (with Specialization in World Economy)
  • Bachelor’s degree passed with minimum 50% aggregate marks in the following subjects:
  • Economics (Hons.) with Mathematics as a subsidiary subject or Mathematics (Hons.) with Economics as as a subsidiary subject or Statistics (Hons.) with Mathematics and Economics as a subsidiary subject.
  • Any bachelor’s degree passed with Mathematics & Economics by securing 60% marks.
M.A. in Politics (with specialization in International Studies) & M.A. in (International Relations and Area Studies)

Ph.D (Direct Admission)
  • 2-years M.Phil degree or 1-year M.Phil with one year research experience and one publication.

  • Minimum 2-years research experience after Master’s degree or diploma equivalent of Master degree with research publication. Moreover, master’s degree should be passed with at least 55% marks.

JNUEE Exam Pattern 2018

The JNUEE 2018 exam pattern include details about number of questions, subjects, marking scheme, etc. For each programme of JNU, there shall be different exam pattern.

  • Exam Mode: The examination will be written in offline mode.
  • Number of Questions: There shall be different number of questions for each programme.
  • Subjects: The subjects that includes in question paper will depend upon the course. Subjects varies from course to course.
  • Negative Marking: There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • Exam Duration: The time provided for completing the examination will be 3 hours.
CoursesExam Pattern
M.Sc. Environmental SciencesQuestion paper will be of objective type and include questions in two parts.Part-1: Include questions from Science and Mathematics of 10+2 standard.

Part-2: Include questions from Physics,

Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Botany and Zoology at the B.Sc. level.

MCAIt includes the multiple choice questions. 10+2/Graduate level Mathematics and Probability (80% questions) and General Aptitude and reasoning (20% questions).
M.A. in Economics (with Specialization in World Economy)The paper tests the candidate’s knowledge in micro-economics,  macro-economics, mathematics and statistics, International trade  and  some related  disciplines,  such  as  public economics and economic development.Objective type questions will be asked in examination comprising of 100 marks with negative marking.
B.A. (Hons.) 1st year in Foreign LanguagesThe paper judges General Knowledge, General  English and Elementary Knowledge on the culture  and civilization of the languages/country  concerned and aptitude for language skills.
B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in Foreign LanguagesKnowledge of basic and applied grammar, besides some competence for simple  translation from the language concerned into English and vice-versa and familiarity with the culture and civilization of the country  concerned.The paper will be set in respective foreign language.
M.Phil/Ph.D and M.Tech/Ph.DThe entrance examination will consist multiple choice questions.The question paper has Graduate/Post  graduate  level Mathematics and Statistics, Graduate/Post  -graduate level Computer Science and General Aptitude.

JNUEE Syllabus 2018

The JNUEE program was different according to the course. Basically, the curriculum of a particular course includes the subjects of the qualification exam for that course. For example: the program of the undergraduate course is 10 + 2 standard.

JNU Admit Card 2018

The entry card for the JNU entry contest has been uploaded through the online mode on the official JNU website (the link is shown above). Candidates can download the JNU 2018 admit card as of December 12, 2017. Admission of the card allows admission to the examination room on the day of the exam.

JNU Answer Key 2018

The university can give the answer in the week following the exam. Students can verify the answers through online mode. The answer key will have all the correct answers to the question asked during the exam. Some coaching institutions can also publish the JNU answer key.
