MH CET 2020MH CET 2021 Application Form can be filled till the Last week of March 2021. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (also known as MHT CET) is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

This is an entry-level exam that offers admission in the first year full-time in the engineering, technology,, and pharmacy courses.

Students can obtain admission to the various institutions of engineering and medicine of the state of Maharashtra by this entrance test. Through this article, students can view the details of the application form for MH CET 2021.

MH CET 2021 Application Form

  • Students can apply for MH CET 2021 through online mode only.
  • The online application form will be commenced in February 2021.
  • The last date of online registration and printing of the confirmation page will be in March 2021.

Students can pay the application fee by credit card/debit card (RuPay/Visa/Master Card/Maestro), internet banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets.

The application fee will be Rs. 800/- for general students of Maharashtra state, outside Maharashtra state, or J&K migrants. Reserved category students have to pay the Rs. 600/- as an application fee.

How to Fill Online Application Form for MH – CET

Aspirants can fill the MH CET application form 2021 after reading the information brochure carefully. The details regarding the application form are given below:

  • Students can apply for MH CET 2021 through online mode only.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is an annual entrance exam. Each answer with the correct response shall be awarded one mark.

There is no Negative Marking. No mark shall be granted for marking two or more answers to the same question, scratching, or overwriting.

The answer once you marked its final. Some candidates Mark lightly / faintly scored, and some are marked darkened circle all this may treat as an incorrect answer.

The wrong method of scoring may not be readied by the optical scanner. Do not fold the answer sheet and do not make any stray marks on it.

How to Apply

We are providing the step-by-step procedure for MH CET 2021 How to Apply:

  • Go to the official link (link will be provided above).
  • Click on “Apply Online.”
  • MH CET 2021 registration page will open on the next page.
  • Enter the valid email id, mobile number, and password of your choice and click on ‘Next.’
  • An email will be received by the students after a successful registration.
  • After that, upload your scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Upload the photograph (size should be 15kb to 50kb) and signature (file size should be 5kb to 20kb). Images must be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format.
  • Proceed to make payment.
  • After successful completion of the payment process, click on the “Generate MHT-CET 2021 Registration Confirmation Page” to generate the registration confirmation page.
  • Take a printout of the confirmation page for future references.

Instruction for Online Application Form

Name of the Candidate: Write your FULL NAME (in English Capital Letters) as recorded in your High School or equivalent examination certificate

Father’s Name: Write FULL NAME (in English Capital Letters).

Mother’s Name: Write FULL NAME (in English Capital Letters).

Date of Birth: Fill in your date of birth exactly as recorded in your High School or equivalent examination certificate in dd/mm/yyyy format.

Address for Correspondence:  Write in CAPITAL letters.

Place of permanent Residence: Select appropriate circle.

Village – The area/place governed by a Grampanchayat or a group Grampanchayat

Town – The area /place governed by Municipal Council (Nagar Palika / Nagar Parishad)

City – The area/place governed by Municipal Corporation (Mahanagar Palika)

Nationality: Select the appropriate circle.

The candidate is Domicile of Select appropriate circle.

Constitutional reservations: Select the appropriate circle. The candidate claiming constitutional reservation must possess the necessary certificates i.e., caste certificate, Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate from scrutiny committee,, and non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable) before the result, failing which the claim will not be granted. Candidate not claiming constitutional reservation should Select appropriate circle: – None.

Important Instructions

The candidate must request a reservation while applying online. For requesting the reservation, no proof is required before the result. The candidate must have proof of reservation. Claiming the reservation after the result will not be entertained.

If proof is not submitted before the result, the candidate will be automatically shifted from the reserve category to the open category. All representations not claiming the reservation in the online application form and requested to accept the application for reservation afterward will be rejected.

Upload Photo and Sign

Photograph:

Take your recent color passport size photograph. The picture should be taken against a light/white background. In case the face in the photo is not clear, your application is liable to be rejected. The candidate should upload such scanned/digital photos.

The file size of each Photograph should not be more than 50 KB per file. Otherwise, it will not be allowed by the System to upload.

To reduce the size, crop the image of the passport size photograph in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor.

Please ensure that only the full face portion is cropped and not the entire picture.

Upload a scanned image of your signature in JPEG format.

The candidate, himself/herself, should sign (no capital letters) on white paper with a black ink pen.

Scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings and the file size should be less than 50 kb in jpeg format.

To reduce the size, crop the image of the signature in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor. Please ensure that only the name portion is cropped and not the entire A4 paper on which you have signed.

Once photograph and signature files are uploaded by the candidate successfully, the system will show on the screen Photograph and Signature that have been uploaded.

If these have been correctly uploaded, you should now proceed further to generate the bank challan for the payment through the State Bank of India.

Payment of fees at State Bank of India (SBI) Branch: The candidate has to take this printed MH CET Bank challan to any of the SBI branches (https://www.sbi.co.in/corporate/branchlocator.htm) to make the payment after 48hrs of registration. Please tender RS 800.00 + RS 60.00 Bank Commission for Open Candidates and RS 600.00 + RS 60.00 Bank Commission for Reservation Category Candidates.

Completion of online application Form: The candidate should visit “www.mhtcet2016.co.in” and log in MH CET registration using his/her MH CET 2021 Registration No and Password after 24 hours of making the payment. Please confirm whether the Bank transaction ID No. and date of payment has been updated.

If it has been, click on the generate MH CET Confirmation Page. A Confirmation Page will open up. Please save this page and also take a printout of the same. This completes the registration process.

MH CET Registration No. and Password: The candidate is advised to keep a copy of the Bank Challan, MH CET 2021 Registration Confirmation Page printout. He/she should note the MH CET Registration No. and password for all future correspondence with MH CET Office.

Generation of Admit Card: Candidate should visit website “www.mhtcet2016.co.in” anytime between 4th week of April 2021 and Last week of April 2021 and take a print out of the same where candidate’s MH CET 2021 Roll No., the address of the Examination center will be mentioned.
