AP LAWCET 2018: Counselling, Admission & Selection Procedure

AP LAWCET 2018 Final Counseling will be Starting From 23rd October 2018. The Rank card will be released in the month of June. AP LAWCET stands for Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test. It is a state level examination organized by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council Of Higher Education), And Hyderabad.

Admission into three and five years LLB Courses, Undergraduate And PG Law Courses offered by various universities located in the state of Andhra Pradesh is possible through giving exams of AP LAWCET. Various Government and Private College and University except for the score of AP LAWCET.

49 different college of the state for L.L.B programs around 8030 seats is available and in around 38 colleges of the state, 3800 seats for the five-year integrated law programmer are available in different colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

As per the sources, AP LAWCET 2018 Examination will be conducted on 19th April 2018 (3:00 PM – 4:30 PM).

Selection Procedure

Merit list will be prepared according to that candidate will be called for counseling. A candidate who is interested in attaining counseling and want more detail they have to download the letter of counseling them on the official site. Admission will get to those candidates who score high score in the examination.

In those cases, the deserving candidate will be given admission. At the month of June, admission process will be started. Candidates have to select their favorite college for admission. The seat will be allotted on the basis of candidate’s rank, availability of seats in colleges & filled choices.

  • The examination is based on the merit.
  • Admission to the college is dependent on the recognition or affiliation by option for college and statutory bodies which are exercised by the counseling.
  • Admission to 85% of the seats is dependent on the reserved for local aspirants.
  • Admission to 15% of the seats will be unreserved of the specified in Andhra Pradesh Educational Institution order 1974 as amended.

AP LAWCET 2018 Answer Key 

Candidates can check the AP LAWCET 2018 Results via online mode through the website from 25th April 2018. Candidates attain exams, after a few days can check the  AP LAWCET exams Answer key. Through online, official portal of authority candidate can check the answer key of AP LAWCET exams. This will help a candidate to roughly check their marks/score of examination.

Candidate can estimate marks and check answer written in the examination. This will help candidates to prepare for further steps.

  • Answer key will be of all papers available in the official website published by K University, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  • As soon the total correct answers are marked candidates can make the calculation of the marks.
  • Make sure for submitting the complaints to the authority in writing along with the required documents, in the case of any issues with the marks.

AP LAWCET Hall Ticket

A candidate who successfully submitted their application for registration can successfully download through online mode from 12th April 2018. Hall ticket is mandatory document keep it safe it is candidate responsibility to keep safe until the completion of exams.Successfully registered candidates can download their AP LAWCET 2018 Hall Ticket through online mode from 12th April 2018.

Hall ticket/admits card contain candidate-related information such as candidate address, roll number, name, center, the birth of date etc. If a candidate didn’t bring Hall ticket at the time of exams he/she will not be allowed to write the paper in the examination hall. Candidates are advised to keep one printed copies of hall ticket/admit card for further use.

  • Successfully registered candidates can download their Admit Card through online mode.
  • Candidates will not be permitted to sit in the examination, without producing the valid admit card.
  • The admit card will contain exam related details like candidate’s name, exam center, roll number, etc.

AP LAWCET 2018 Exam Pattern

Exam paper pattern is provided, top candidate. In examination question paper will contain objective type question with MCQ and matching items. Total Question will be 120 and each question will contain four alternative answers.

In 2 language English and Telugu Question will be asked to the candidate.

Type of Question: The question paper will contain objective type questions.

Candidate will be given 1 and a half hours to complete their paper as per the rules no extra time will be served to any candidate.

Duration: The exam duration will be 90 minutes.

  • Language: The question paper language will be English and Telugu
  • Marking Scheme: One mark will be given for each correct response.
  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in this exam.

AP LAWCET Application Form 2018

AP LAWCET 2018 Application Form is releasing on 9th March 2018. The candidate has to fill the application form before the due date after the due date application will not be accepted.

The application form is available on the official portal. Candidat6e are requested to fill; application in the given format6 and upload scanned image of passport size photograph and signature with it.  Candidate can take the printout of it for further use and verification.

  • Students can fill and submit the AP LAWCET 2018 Application Form via online mode only from 9th March 2018.
  • AP LAWCET 2018 Application Form Last Date has been extended till10th April 2018
  • Candidates have to fill their personal, examination, address & other details in the application form.
  • Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Pay the application fee through online and offline mode.
  • Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form for further use.

Application Fee 2018 :

Candidate can pay application fees online and offline. Through online payment is possible by debit, credit card or net banking or through the designated AP online center. Once it is paid by online or remit by any branch of a bank it will not be refunded back top candidate.

  • Candidates have to pay the application fee of  450/-for all candidates.
  • The fee payment should be done through debit/credit card, net banking or AP online center.

Eligibility Criteria 2018

Candidate should know about eligibility criteria perfectly as visual candidate ignore eligibility criteria and face difficulty at the time of admission. Candidate must know basic information like the candidate should be Indian or from other nation are eligible.

He/she should satisfy the local or non-local status requirements as laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions. There are no age limit criteria for admission more detail are provided below.

    • Residence: Candidates should belong to Andhra Pradesh state.
    • Qualification for LLB (3 years): Candidates must hold a three-year graduation degree from any recognized university.
    • Qualification for LLB (5 years): Students should have cleared 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board.

Percentage:

    The minimum percentage criteria is 45% marks for general and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.

  • Age Limit: There is not any age limit for AP LAWCET exam.
