DU Admission 2019 Application Form

  • Delhi University Admission 2019 Application Form has been Released on 30th May 2019 for UG Courses.
  • DU Admission 2019 PG Application has been Started on 22nd June 2019. 
  • Authority will be updating the application form in online mode on the official website of the university for the applicants.
  • Applicants are instructed to fill the application form and submit the form by the last date decided by the university.
  • Applicants who want to get the application form will have to register themselves on the official website.
  • Applicants will receive a confirmation mail along with the login details after the registration is done on the registered email ID or phone number.
  • Applicants are requested to login to the official website again using the login details provided by the university.
  • After logging to the website applicants are instructed to fill the application form online by entering some required information in the form like applicants name, roll number, date of birth, exam date, time and venue, etc.
  • At the time of filling the application form, applicants are required to upload the scanned images of the photographs and signature in JPG format as required.
  • Once the application form is filled properly applicants are instructed to check the information filled in the application form.

Application Fees

  • Applicants are instructed to take a printout of the duly filled application form for further reference.
  • Applicants need to submit the application form in online mode on the official website of the university along with the application fee.
  • Applicants can pay the application fee in online mode through debit card, credit card or net banking.
  • Authority will charge separate fees as an application fee for each course.

  • UR/OBC category Applicants who are applying for UG merit-based course have to pay Rs 150/- as application fee.
  • Sports/ECA category Applicants who are applying for UG merit-based course have to pay Rs 100/- as application fee.
  • SC/ST/PWD category Applicants who are applying for UG merit-based course have to pay Rs 75/- as application fee.

Age Criteria

  • University has not decided any age limit for the applicants.

For UG Courses

  • Educational Qualification
  • Applicants who are applying for UG course must have completed HSC exams from a known university or board.
  • Minimum Mark
  • Applicants must score a minimum 60% mark in the qualifying exam for BA (Hons.) Business Economics, BMS, BBA (FIA), B.Tech, and B.Sc. (Hons.) computer science course.
  • Applicants must score a minimum 40% mark in the qualifying exam for the B.Com course.
  • Applicants must score a minimum, 75% mark in the best four subjects and 85% marks in the English subjects qualifying the exam for BA (Honours.) in multimedia and mass communication course.
  • Applicants must score a minimum 45% mark in the qualifying exam for BA (Hons.) in Arabic, Hindi, Persian, Punjabi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Bengali course.
  • Applicants must score a minimum 55% mark in the qualifying exam for B.Sc. (Hons.) botany, zoology, microbiology course.

For PG Courses

LLB

  • Educational Qualifications
  • Applicants who have completed a graduation degree in any stream are eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Marks
  • Applicants who belong to the general category must score at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • OBC category applicants must secure a minimum of 45% marks in the exam.
  • Minimum 40% marks should be scored by the applicants who belong to SC or ST category.

LLM

  • Educational Qualifications
  • Applicants who have passed three or five years LLB degree from a known university are eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Marks:
  • Applicants who belong to the general category must score at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • OBC category applicants must secure a minimum 45% marks in the exam and Minimum 40% marks should be scored by the applicants who belong to SC or ST category.

MCA

  • Educational Qualifications
  • Applicants who want to apply for MCA course must have completed three years of a bachelor degree from a known university.
  • Marks
  • Applicants must score at least 60% marks in the qualifying exam.

M.Com

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Applicants who have completed B.Com, B.Com (Hon.), BA (Hons.) Economics or any similar exam from a known university are eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Marks:
  • General category applicants must score at least 50% marks, OBC category applicants should secure minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • SC or ST category applicants should score Minimum 40% marks in the exams.

M.Tech

  • Educational qualifications:
  • Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. Physics with specialization in electronic or B.Tech., BE Electrical, electronics, and communication, instrumentation engineering degree or any similar exam from a known university should be completed by the applicants in order to apply for the exam.
  • Marks:
  • Applicants must score at least 60% marks in the qualifying exam.

M.Ed

  • Educational qualifications:
  • Ed., B.A.B.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed, B.El.Ed or D.El.Ed with an undergraduate degree should be completed by the applicants.
  • Marks:
  • Applicants must score at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

DU Admission 2019 Exam Pattern

 The important information related to the paper pattern for the entrance exam is listed below for the reference of the applicants:

  • Duration: Applicants will get a total of two hours to solve the entire paper.
  • Mode: Applicants have to appear entrance exam in offline mode (pen and paper-based test).
  • Type of questions: MCQ type objective questions will be asked in the question paper.
