NEET UG 2022 Cut Off will be released. The exam conducting authority releases the results of the NEET entrance exam. They will declare whether the student is qualified or not qualified for the further process of NEET. All the applicants who applied for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination who gave exams in their respected examination center must be waiting for the NEET examination cut-off.
The cut-off marks can’t be declared before the examination is conducted. But a candidate can get a general overview of the cut-off marks for NEET.
The candidates can know about the Expected Cut off of NEET 2022 for general reference. This cut-off is of the previous year’s reference. The cut-off marks do change every year depending on the marks the candidates have obtained.
Factors for Cut Off
The cutoff marks are the minimum marks that the student should get to get qualified for the next level of the process.
The exam conducting authorities will provide the NEET 2022 cut-off marks soon after the exam is over.
Those candidates who qualify from the cut-off marks will be eligible to appear for the next level of the process of the NEET examination.
Some factors are considered while preparing the NEET cut-off list which is as follows:
- Some seat availability.
- Some candidates applied for the NEET Examination.
- Marking Scheme.
- The difficulty level of the test.
Category wise Cut Off marks
To be eligible for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for a particular academic year, it is very necessary for the candidates to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile of marks in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).
This 50 percentile is for the general quota candidates, but for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks shall be 40 percentile.
However, if a candidate belongs to the locomotive disability of lower limbs in terms of the clause, then the minimum marks shall be at the 45 percentile.
The percentile must be determined based on the highest marks secured in the All India Common merit list in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

According to an official notice, the candidates have to score minimum marks to qualify to get admission in the MBBS and BDS seats in government, private, and deemed medical colleges/universities in India.

Procedures in case of Tie
If two or more students obtained equal marks in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, such candidates will determine in order of preference as follows.
- Those who score high marks in the Biology subject in NEET 2022.
- Next who scores high marks in the Chemistry in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2022.
- Those who attempted fewer wrong answers in all the subjects of NEET 2022.
- And Applicants older in age will be preferred.
