JKCET 2023 Online Application Form has been Re-Open from 27th May – 5th June 2023. Jammu & Kashmir, Common Entrance Test is a state-level exam conducted by JKBOPEE- Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination. This exam is performed once a year. 

Candidates willing to take the exam can apply for various UG Engineering Courses offered at government and private colleges nationwide. You can apply for this exam online on the official website only.

JKCET 2023 Important Dates

JKCET 2023 Application Form

• One candidate can fill out only one application form in any case.

JKCET 2023 Application Fees 

After filling out the application form, the next step is to pay the JKCET exam’s application fee. The application fee is set by the exam conducting authority. All the candidates have to pay the application fee to be allowed to give the exam.

JKCET 2023 Application Form Correction

JKCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility criteria are set by the exam conducting body for each candidate applying for the exam. This criterion is to be followed by every candidate to be eligible for the exam. Every candidate must fulfil this criterion.

Candidates should be Indian. 

• Age Limit

The candidate’s minimum age must be 17 years as of 31st December. 

• Qualifying Marks 

Candidates must have at least 50% marks, and 45% for reserved category candidates. 

• Qualification 

Candidates should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized education board. 

• Subjects

Candidates must have studied Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and English in the qualifying exam. 

• Appearing

Candidates who are in 12th standard and are going to give the exam in 2023.

JKCET 2023 Admit Card 

Admit card is the most important document a candidate would need for the exam. The candidates who would have filled out the application form and also paid the application fee would be able to get the admit card. 

The candidates who would have not done any of this would not be able to get the admit card. The admit card for JKCET 2023 would be released online on the website. You can download the admit card by logging in to the online website. 

The candidates should also take a printout of the admit card because they will have to carry it with them to the exam centre and if the candidate does not carry the admit card with them, they would not be allowed to give the exam. 

JKCET 2023 Answer Key 

Answer Key for JKCET 2023 would be released online on the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir board. The JKCET 2023 answer key would be released after one week of the exam.  Candidates will have to login into their IDs to access the answer key. 

The answer key aims to check the answers and match them with the board to estimate the result and see what answers you got wrong.  If, in any case, a candidate finds any problem in the answer key, they can send a written query to the exam authority.

Along with the written appeal, the candidates must attach document proof for the query to prove the issue. And the candidates will need to pay for raising the challenge to answer keys. 

JKCET 2023 Result 

The result for JKCET 2023 would be released online on the official website. The candidates can check the result there quickly. The candidates would need their registration number and date of birth to download the result. 

The candidates need to download their results and take print them as no hard copy of it would be sent to any candidate. If you get shortlisted, you must carry the result with you in further rounds. 

JKCET 2023 Merit List 

A merit list is a list which is issued by the exam conducting where the names of the candidates are displayed and the candidates who would make it to the further admission rounds. The merit list for JKCET 2023 would be based on the performance of the candidates in the exam. 

The merit will contain the names of all the nominated candidates who would have secured higher ranks in the entrance exam of JKCET. After that, the candidates would be shortlisted by the exam authority, and they will get admission to different colleges in Jammu and Kashmir. 

JKCET 2023 Counselling 

After the result and merit list are released online on the official website. The exam authorities would be shortlisting the candidates for the counselling round, which will be the final round before the candidate gets admission to any college. 

JKCET would contact the shortlisted candidates as a call for a counselling process. All the notifications about the counselling would be released online. The candidates would also get counselling letters online only. 

All the candidates who would be shortlisted and invited to the counselling must carry an original certificate and a counselling fee of INR 500. All the candidates must choose the colleges and the course they want.
