Amrita University 2020 Application Form & Fee

To fill the Online Application Form for AEEE, applicants need to first register with their name and email.

  • Amrita University 2020 Application Form has been released on 19th September 2019 for B.Tech
  • Once the registration is done, a password gets sent by Amrita University for the applicant’s future log in.
  • Applicants need to then pay the AEEE application fee of Rs 1,000 through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/Mobile Wallet/Cash Card.
  • Once the scanned images of their recent passport size color photograph and signature are uploaded, applicants can submit the Application Form.
  • Applicants have to safely keep the printout of the computer-generated Application Form of AEEE for future reference.
  • Applicants also need to get AEEE OMR Application Form from the sales outlet, Post Offices, and Banks after the payment of Rs. 1,000 is done.
  • OMR application forms have to be obtained by post from the Admission Co-coordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore campuses.
  • Applicants have to send a request in writing stating their proper communication address along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 1000 that is drawn in the favor of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore.

Important Instructions for the filling the form

Applicants have to use an HB Pencil and Black Ball Point Pen for filling up the Application Form.

  • Applicants need to mark their responses only inside the space that is provided for the purpose. Any responses marked outside would cause rejection of the application.
  • The Application Form needs to be filled in English only.
  • Applicants cannot enclose any certificate along with the filled-in application & attestation is not required in the application.
  • It is necessary that the applicants use only the original coded form as the photocopy of the coded form is not acceptable.
  • Applicants cannot staple, pin, tear, wrinkle, or wet the coded sheet. Any kind of tampered application will not be entertained.
  • Incomplete application forms would get rejected and no communication will be sent in this regard.
  • Any kind of request for changing or correcting any information submitted in the Application Form will not be accepted under any circumstance.
  • Applicants can submit only one application.

Amrita University 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for AEEE Entrance exam

The candidates those will satisfy the complete eligibility criteria set by the university will be admitted to the first year of four years B.Tech degree program

  • The common eligibility is that the applicant should be above 18 years of age.
  • The applicant should be a citizen of India.
  • Applicant should have cleared HSC or its equivalent securing 60%- or above marks in Mathematics, 55% or above separately in Physics and Chemistry with an aggregate of 60% in the three subjects.
  • Appearing candidates can also apply.

Amrita University 2020 Exam Pattern

Below is the exam pattern of AEEE 2020 from below

  • # Of Questions: The question paper will contain 100 questions.
  • Questions Type: The questions asked in the questions paper will be MCQ (Multiple type questions) type.
  • Duration: 150 minutes will be given to solve the questions paper.
  • Mode: The exam will be conducted online as well as offline.
  • Marking scheme: 3 marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

For B.Tech Course:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed his/her 12th level or equivalent from any recognized University.
  • Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry& Mathematics (PCM) with not less than 55% individually in all three subjects.
  • Appearing: Appearing candidates are also eligible.
  • Age Limit: Students who’re DOB falls on or after 1st July 1999 will only be eligible (according to school certificate).

For MBA Course:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates qualifying in a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University are eligible.
  • Valid Scorecard: Applying Candidate must possess a valid scorecard of KMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GRE/ GMAT/CMAT to apply for the MBA course.

For Other UG Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed in Class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized University.
  • Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in their intermediate level or equivalent.
  • Qualifying Subjects: Qualifying candidates of the science stream must have PCM subjects in class 12th.

For Other PG Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have done his/her graduation from any recognized University.
  • Qualifying Marks: He/she must have scored a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible to apply.
  • Valid Scorecard: For M.Tech admission, the student must possess a valid scorecard of GATE/ACET.

Exam preparation tips:

  • Before starting preparation, you should analyze the syllabus prescribed for the examination.
  • Prepare a good time-table as per your daily schedule and include all the topics of the syllabus in your preparations.

The admit card is also known as Hall ticket and will be released on the official portal. Applicants will be able to download the Admit card through online mode only.

Admit cards/hall tickets is a mandatory document which has all the details such as Name, Roll Number, photograph, signature, examination schedule & examination center details, etc

Applicants who are attaining exams are informed to carry valid Original admit cards with id proof if applicants didn’t bring, applicants will not be allowed to attain exams in the examination

Amrita University 2020 Exam Results

The release date for the results will be announced on the official website. Applicants will have to log in with their registration number to get their results.

Results will be available on the official website a few days after the examination is completed.

It is also advised to keep extra printed copies of the results as they will be required in the future.

The Counselling will be held in Online mode on various campuses of the University. Students have to download their counseling letters online and have to pay a certain amount of fee as counseling charges.

The candidates must be physically present during the process. Students have to verify their qualifications and other necessary documents.

After successful verification of the documents, the seat will be allotted to the candidates. Based on rank order, candidates will have to attend the counseling.
