Bihar Polytechnic DCECE Courses

Polytechnic Engineering (PE)/ Part-Time 4 Years Polytechnic Engineering (PPE)/ Para Medical Dental (PMD)/ Para Medical – Intermediate Level (PM).

Application fee

The candidates have to pay the application fee for Bihar Polytechnic Entrance Examination and the application fee is mentioned below-

Candidates can pay the application fee online and online payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking. Candidates can also pay the application fee through challan.

Eligibility Criteria of Bihar Polytechnic

Following are the eligibility criteria as mentioned below for the candidate to fill the application form, it is mandatory

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate should have the domicile certificate of Bihar.
• If the parents of the candidate are permanent residence of Bihar then the candidate is eligible to apply.
• For a PE course, the minimum requirement is the 10th class passed with a minimum of 35% marks. No age limit for this course.
• For the PPE course, the minimum requirement is 10th class passed with a minimum of 50% marks in Science and Mathematics separately. The candidate should have completed the age of 19 years before 1st July 2021.

For the PMD course, the prescribed qualification is 10th or its equivalent passed with physics, chemistry, biology, and English subjects. The minimum age limit is 15 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years exam

Exam Pattern of Bihar Polytechnic

PE & PPE (Polytechnic Engineering & Part-time Polytechnic Engineering)

There will be a total of 90 questions (30 questions for Physics, 30 for Chemistry & 30 for Mathematics), each question will carry 5 marks. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours & 15 minutes.

PM (Para Medical)

There will be a total of 90 questions (15 questions for General Sc., 15 questions for Algebra, 15 questions for Hindi, 15 questions for English, and 20 questions for GK), each question will carry 5 marks. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours & 15 minutes.

PMD (Para Medical Dental)

There will be a total of 90 questions (20 questions for Physics, 20 for Chemistry, 10 for Mathematics, 10 for Biology, 10 for Hindi, 10 for English, and 10 for GK), each question will carry 5 marks. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours & 15 minutes.

Bihar Polytechnic Application Form Correction

Those candidates who have filled the Application Form, they get the chance to correct the application form from the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The correction window will have opened in April 2021.

Bihar Polytechnic Admit Card

The Bihar Polytechnic DCECE 2021 Admit Card has been released on 17th September 2021.

The candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Bihar Polytechnic. The admit is mandatory for examination and those candidates will not have the admit card, they will not allow seating in the examination hall.
