CUCET Eligibility Criteria

CUCET stands for [Center University Common Entrance Test], you can pay the fees made through “Challan” you may have to wait for 7 days and if you do not receive it within 07 days, you may send an email to enqcucet2017@curaj.ac.in and after online application submission with online/debit card/credit card successful payment an automated e-mail and SMS will be sent to the mail id & mobile number you have given in the application form.

In Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering through regular course of study from an UGC/AICTE approved institution with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) in the degree examination or equivalent CGPA.

OR

M.Sc.IT/MCA having BCA/BSc IT through regular course of study from an UGC/AICTE approved institution, with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD Applicant) in the degree examination or equivalent CGPA at both the levels. Applicant should have valid GATE score. However, in case of non-availability of candidates with valid GATE score, non-GATE candidates will also be considered for admission.

18M. Ed.2 yearsMinimum 50% aggregate marks or its equivalent on Grading Scale of respective Universities(45% for SC/ST/PwD Applicant) in B.Ed./, B.A.B.Ed.,BSc..B.Ed./,B.EI.ED/D.EI.Ed.(with an undergraduate degree) from a recognised University. In case there is any vacancy in inservice category, the same shall be filled from preservice category applicant.
19M.A Comparative Religion2 yearsBachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% marks or its equivalent on grading scale of respective universities(45% for SC/ST/PWD Applicant)

 

Paper Pattern

All Question Papers will be MCQ based consisting of: –

  • Part A : Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills – comprising of 25 MCQs
  • Part B: Domain Knowledge – comprising of 75 MCQs. This part may consist of three/four/five sections. Each section will have 25 questions. A candidate is required to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions). However, he must ensure that he fills right circles in the OMR Sheet corresponding to the question numbers attended.
  • For Admission to some Integrated Courses/MBA/ /LLB/ or any other general course(s), only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs covering English language, reasoning, data interpretations/numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held.
  • The applicants will have to choose one correct answer and mark on OMR Sheet.
  • Each paper will be only of Two Hours Duration.
  • There will be negative marking.
