GUJCETGUJCET stands for Gujarat Common Entrance Test. GUJCET is also considered as a state-level Entrance test which is controlled by Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB).

The GUJCET admissions are conducted by the ACPC (The Admission Committee for Professional Courses), and they also schedule the counseling. Successful candidates after GUJCET 2020 would be able to get admission in Engineering and Pharmacy courses. The courses will be offered by the government and non-government institutions in the Gujarat state.

Applicants who want to go in for the Engineering & Degree/diploma pharmacy courses in government, & private institutes of Gujarat need to clear the GUJCET entrance.

Gujarat CET (Common Entrance Test) 2020 Examination will be held on the 2nd week of May 2020. The Application Form will be released in March month. The GUJCET 2020 Notification will be out officially in February 2020.

GUJCET 2020 Application Form

The GUJCET 2020 Application form can be applied online and offline also. Applicants have to visit the official website to apply for the courses.

  • On the home page, the applicants will be able to see the link for the application form.
  • Once the applicant’s clicks on the link the application will open on the new page.
  • It is important to fill the application with all the correct and accurate information.
  • Once the application is filled, applicants have to pay the application fee.
  • Applicants also have to attach the required documents like the scanned copied of the latest passport size photograph, Left thumb impression and also the signature in the advised format and size.

GUJCET 2020 Application Fee

  • Make sure to pay the application fee of Rs. 300/- also as it is a part of the application process.
  • Applicants also have to keep a hard copy of the application form as it will be required at the time of admission.
  • If the applicants decide to submit the application in offline mode, they have to do so before the last submission date.
  • Also, the fee has to be paid by the Demand Draft.

GUJCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The GUJCET Eligibility criteria depend on a few factors listed below:

  • Nationality: The applicant should be an Indian (Resident of India)
  • Domicile: The applicants who are basically from Gujarat will get the first preference, but applicants from other states of India are also eligible.
  • Qualification: The applicant should have completed the HSC from Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board, CBSE board from Delhi & Gandhinagar, New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board.
  • Percentage: Applicant from the General category must have achieved 45% marks in HSC, and the reserved category should have achieved 40% marks.

General Eligibility (Common for all courses):

  • Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India only.
  • Residence: The candidate must be domiciled of the Gujarat state.

Eligibility for Engineering:

  • Candidates must be passed a 12th class examination from any recognized education board in India.
  • Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics in 12th class.
  • Candidates must secure minimum 45% marks in 12th (40% in case of reserved categories).
  • Appearing candidates can apply.

Eligibility for Pharmacy:

  • Candidates must be passed a 12th class examination from any recognized education board in India.
  • Candidates must have Physics and Chemistry in 12th class.
  • Candidates must secure minimum 45% marks in 12th (40% in case of reserved categories).

Eligibility for Diploma:

  • Candidates must be passed a 12th class examination from any recognized education board in India.

GUJCET 2020 Exam Pattern

The GUJCET 2020 Exam pattern given Below for preparing a GUJCET 2020.

  • Mode: The exam will be held via offline mode only.
  • Language: The paper will come in Hindi, English and Gujarati language.
  • Courses: The exam will be held for engineering and pharmacy courses.
  • Duration: The examination will go long to 3 hours duration.
  • Subjects: The questions will come from physics, chemistry, and mathematics for engineering courses.
    • The question will come from physics, chemistry, and biology for pharmacy courses.
  • Total Question: A total of 120 questions will be asked (40 questions for each subject)
  • Total Marks: The paper will be of 120 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For the right answer, one mark will be allotted.
    • While the 0.25 mark will be deducted for the incorrect answer.

GUJCET 2020 Preparation Tips

Exam preparation tips

  • Before starting preparation, you should analyze the syllabus prescribed for the examination.
  • Prepare a good time-table as per your daily schedule and include all the topics of the syllabus in your preparations.
  • Refer the best preparation books and other study materials available in the market or on the internet.
  • Practice from previous year question papers and sample papers to know more about the exam pattern
  • Mark all the important topics of the syllabus and prepare short notes and revise them at the end of preparations.
  • Don’t take stress while preparing for the exam and take a healthy & nutritious diet.

GUJCET 2020 Exam Syllabus

The GUJCET 2020 Syllabus will have subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology but all the questions will be related to the HSC level of the GSEB board.

  • However, GUJCET is the most sought examination in the Gujarat state, but there is not an official syllabus prescribed.
  • For engineering, The questions are asked from physics, mathematics and chemistry subjects.
  • The questions will be asked from the 11th & 12th class syllabus of Gujarat State Education Board.

GUJCET 2020 Admit Card

The GUJCET 2020 Admit Card will be Download through Online mode. Admit card is also known as Hall ticket and will be released on the official portal.

  • Applicants will be able to download the GUJCET 2020 Admit card through online mode only.
  • Admit cards/hall tickets is a mandatory document which has all the details such as Name, Roll Number, photograph, signature, examination schedule & examination center details, etc
  • Applicants who are attaining exams are informed to carry valid Original admit cards with id proof if applicants didn’t bring, applicants will not be allowed to attain exams in the examination hall.
  • Applicants who have successfully submitted their application can only download the admit cards.

GUJCET 2020 Answer Key

After a few days of exams, candidates will receive the GUJCET 2020 Answer key on the website.

The GUJCET 2020 Answer key can be published on the 3rdweek of May 2020. With the help of the latter, candidates must calculate their gross scores to qualify the exam.

With the answer key, the board also publishes the questionnaires separately for Middle English and Hindi Gujarati.

GUJCET 2020 Exam Result

The release date for the GUJCET 2020 Result will be announced on the official website.

  • Applicants will have to log in with their registration number to get their results.
  • The result will be available on the official website a few days after the examination is completed.
  • It is also advised to keep extra printed copies of the Result as they will be required in future

GUJCET 2020 Exam Counselling

The GUJCET 2020 Counseling depends on the score in the entrance examination.

  • Applicants are advised to check the merit list for reference on the website.
  • If the applicants have been selected for the counseling, then they need to report the center at the given time.
