IPU CET 2018: Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus
IPU CET 2018 Application Form has been released from 19th February 2018.IPU CET 2018, counseling for the candidate will be started from the week of June. For all Common Entrance Test (CET) qualified candidates. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University organized examination of IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) every year.
Admission in different courses, for candidate University, organized a series of Common Entrance Test(CET). The common Entrance test is organized for admission in various such as UG and PG courses in the field of Engineering, Management, Law, Computer Applications, Medical, Dental etc offered by the Indraprastha University.
A candidate who wants admission in GGSIPU affiliated colleges has to give entrance exams for the respected courses. According to NEET score admission into undergraduate or postgraduate or super specialty medical courses is possible.

IPU CET 2018 applications has been provided from 19th February 2018.The common entrance test is conducted for the various course for the students. Note: Admission into MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS & B.Sc (Yoga) courses will be done through NEET UG 2018 Score.
IPU CET Application Form
Through the online official portal, only IPU CET application form filling and submitting is possible. The candidate will not provide an offline mode. Including charges and taxes, Rs.1000/- application fees are charged to the candidate.
More than the one-course, the candidate can apply for application but the candidate has to submit a eparate application form for that. There is no need of sending a copy to the university.
A candidate who wants to fill the application form, they have to enter their Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, Gender, Date of birth and course.
- IPU CET 2018 application form has been released from 19th February 2018.
- The University will release the application form through online mode.
- Candidates can apply for one more than one course by submitting separate application form for that.
- To fill the application form, Firstly candidates have to register themselves by entering their name, mobile number, email ID, gender, date of birth and course.
- There is no need to send the hard copy of the application form to the University.
The candidate has to pay Rs. 1000/- for application fees. Application fees can be paid by the candidates through online payment, via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
A candidate who are interested in filling the form of IPU CET application, students are informed that application will be available in online mode only.
In case, candidate-related correction in application form in particular fields (DOB, spelling mistake in candidate’s name, parents name, category), candidate have to send a physical application form with application processing fees Rs. 500 to the address mention.
Eligibility Criteria of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University
Candidate must have passed the 12th examination properly from a recognized board. For UG courses. The candidate must have complete his graduate degree, for PG course. Students can apply for B. Tech Lateral Entry course, those who have three-year diploma & B.Sc. graduation degree.
Indraprastha University conducts common entrance test (CET) for various courses. Eligibility criteria for different courses are different. Below schedule is prepared for a candidate to know norms and condition which must be satisfied by candidates. Course- wise detail is given below in scheduled.

|B. Tech||· 12th passed/appearing with 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.|
· Additionally, the candidate is also required to pass the English subjects individually in the qualifying examination.
|B. Tech (Bio-Technology)||·||· Pass in 12th class/appearing from the recognized board by securing 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology. Also, secure passing marks in English subject.|
|B. Tech (LE)||·||· 3-years diploma holders or B.Sc. degree holders with Mathematics are eligible for this course. Minimum marks that candidates have to secure is 60% marks.|
|M.Tech||·||· B.E./B.Tech (in the respective discipline) Or Pass Grad. IETE/AMIE. Or Pass M.Sc. & MCA by securing 60% marks.|
|MCA||·||· Pass bachelor’s degree in engineering or BCA by securing 50% aggregate marks.|
|B.A.LL.B./BB.A.LL.B.||·||· Prescribed Qualification is 10+2 from a recognized board by attaining 50% marks in aggregate. Also, candidates must pass English in the qualifying examination.|

Age Limit for IPU CET:
- UG Courses: For UG courses where qualifying examination is 12th (except MBBS/BDS) – 21 years
- PG Courses: For PG courses where qualifying examination is graduation – 35 years
- Bachelor of Vocation– 45 years (maximum age limit). Candidate should not be less than 16 years as on 31st December 2018.
IPU CET Exam Pattern
Exams of IPU CET will be conducted offline mode only. In Optical mark recognition(OMR) pattern question will be asked to a candidate in exams. Candidate must use black ball pen to mark the answer in the examination.
For each wrong answer, one marks will be deducted. Negative marking will be done for the wrong answer to each question. The question paper will contain total 150 questions, (except B.Tech. Biotechnology).200 question will be asked to B. Tech (Biotechnology).
The question will be asked to a candidate in English language, exam time is 2:00 a half hours (for B.Tech. Biotechnology, three hours exam duration).

IPU CET Syllabus
The syllabus CET for the different course will be different. the question will be asked in examination according to the field of course. Syllabus of undergraduate course will be based on 12th or diploma level.
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of class 11th and 12th syllabus of CBSE related topics will be asked in the examination for IPU CET syllabus for B.Tech. The Syllabus is different for each CET common entrance test which depends upon the discipline.

IPU CET Admit Card
IPU CET admit card/ rank card/ hall ticket will be released 1 week before the examination. Students appearing for IPU CET Exams, admit card will be released online only.No offline rank cards/ admit cards will be given by authority to candidate residential Adress.
Admit card contain candidate-related information for example candidate roll no., name, seat number, a birth of date, and ID etc. students are requested to keep hall ticket/ admit card safe till the end of exams.
Photo ID proof along with admit card is important to enter the examination center. Students have to take responsibility of their own hall ticket if, admit card miss-place candidate will not be allowed to enter in examination hall.
Admit card can be download from the official website, it is necessary to bring two copies of the admit cards at the examination hall along with photographs.
- IPU CET Admit card 2018 will be released most probably 2 weeks before the examination.
- It will be released online only.
- Candidates are advised to keep your admit card safe after the exam as it is required at the time of document verification.
Result of IPU CET
The result of IPU CET will be released after 1 months of the examination date. The result of B. Tech will be declared by the authority in the 1st or 2nd month of June. According to marks in CETs, marks score by candidate merit list will be prepared after the announcement of result.
The candidate is requested to keep one print out of result for further procedure and verification. keep result safe for future use. The result will be declared to the candidate in online official websites.
- Candidates have to check IPU CET 2018 result via online mode.
- The result will be available after the submission of details like DOB, roll number and application number.
IPU CET Cut Off
Going through previous year marks students will get help for the rough idea about how much more needed for qualifying. Candidate can check the minimum and maximum marks from the given cut-off marks on websites.
Other college has different cut off marks for different courses and category. Cut off marks will help students to get the rough idea which favorite college they want to choose.
IPU CET Counselling
IPU CET 2018 will be conducted from 1st or 2nd week of June onward. Also, Online counseling is starting for a candidate who wants admission in various B. Tech offered by University.
Documents needed for verification and registration for reserved category candidate. Open house counseling and spot counseling is conducted for candidate IPU CET. A candidate who scores good marks in IPU CET will be invited to counseling according to prepares merit list.
A candidate who is interested in attaining counseling. candidate have to pay Rs 1000/- only. Payment of counseling can be done through bank challan in cash at any branch of Indian Bank, net banking, debit/ credit card.
- Candidates who qualify the IPU CET are required to participate in counseling process for seeking admission based on candidate’s performance and merit in CET 2018 in respective program.
- IPU counseling scheduled will be displayed one week prior to the commencement of counseling.
- IPU Admission 2018 is on the basis of merit secured in IPU CET 2018.

IPU CET Counselling includes the following stages:

- Result/ Allocation of Seats in every round
- Freezing of Allotted Seat after every Round

Answer key will be released after the exam. With the help of answer key candidate can check their answer and get an idea about their performance in the main examination. It will also help the candidate to get a rough idea about the marks that they have expected and can analyze their performance.
