Indian Statistical Institute (ISI 2019) offers admission through its national level entrance exam.  Through this exam, candidate can get into B.Stat (Hons.), B.Math (Hons.), M.Stat, M.Math, MS (QE), MS (QMS), MS (LIS), M.Tech (CS), M.Tech (CRS), M.Tech (QROR), PG Diplomas and Research Fellowships programmes.

Candidates will be offered admission to its all campuses situated in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, and Tezpur.

ISI Application Form 2019

ISI 2019 Application Form will be released on 5th February 2019 and the Last date to fill application form is 12th March 2019. Submit filled application before the maturity period.

Candidates are advised to fill the ISI application form 2019 only if they are eligible according to the eligibility specified in the student brochure.

  • Candidates who are eligible for their application form can apply through online mode.
  • Candidates can fill online application form from the 5th February 2019.
  • The last date to submit and fill application is the 12th March 2019.
  • After filling application details candidates have to upload the digital copies of the photograph, scanned copy of signature and the supporting documents related to claiming for reservation.

Application Fee:

All candidates are advised to keep printed copies of it for further use. Candidates have to pay application form fees as per category.  Candidates can pay fees through online mode can transfer from the bank.

  • The application fee will be  1000/-for all candidates in the General category.
  • 500/- for reserved (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PWD) category candidates for all programmes.
  • The fee can be paid through SBI payment gateway. It can also be accepted in cash through bank Challan of SBI.

Eligibility Criteria 2019

Before applying, candidates must check the full Eligibility Criteria of ISI 2019 entrance exam. If any candidates fail to know they may find difficulty to the registrar.ISI 2019 eligibility criteria contain the Nationality, Appearing Candidates and Qualifying Exams etc.

  • Nationality: Resident of India and Overseas candidates can apply.
  • AppearingCandidates: Candidates those will complete their qualifying examination before 01 July 2019 may also apply.

M.Tech (QROR)Master degree in Statistics/ Master degree in Mathematics with Probability and Statistics/ BE/B.Tech or equivalent.

Must secure the passing marks in Chemistry & Physics at 12th/ Mathematics at graduation level.

MS (QE)3 year Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics & Physics/B.Stat from ISI/ B.E or B.Tech.
MS (QMS)3 year Bachelor Degree in Mathematics/B.E or B.Tech.

ISI Exam Pattern 2019

ISI 2019 exam will be conducted in the 2nd week of May and it will be in offline mode. Candidates have to complete paper within 4 hours. 2 hours for forenoon exam and 2 hours for afternoon exam.

The general ISI exam pattern is given below. However, candidates can check the exam pattern for the particular course from the ISI official website.

  • Mode: The exam will be conducted through offline mode.
  • Types of Questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked in forenoon exam and descriptive type in the afternoon exam.
  • Duration of Exam: The complete exam will be of 4 hours. 2 hours for forenoon exam and 2 hours for afternoon exam.
  • Marking Scheme: It will be different for each course.

How to Prepare for ISI Exam 2019

Candidates should check all details regarding the officially prescribed syllabus.

Candidates should make a proper timetable for study timetable

  • Candidates can solve the question from previous year question papers, it will help you to know more about the exam pattern.
  • Study but even take care of your health.
  • Candidates should do meditation & yoga it will help you to concentrate in your studies.

ISI Syllabus 2019

Candidates have to study from the syllabus prescribed by the authority.  ISI 2019 syllabus of all courses will be different.

ISI syllabus will be issued by the ISI authority itself. The questions asked in the exam will be from the set of the undergraduate or 10+2 level and For B.Stat & B.Math, the syllabus will include the topics from Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus & Geometry.

Candidates who have selected M.Stats courses, questions will be asked from Mathematics and Statistics & Probability subjects. Candidates have to prepare for exam according to the course they have opted to good marks in the examination.

ISI 2019 Admit Card

Authority will release the notification it will be sent by e-mail. Candidates have to download the admit cards if ISI 2019 on 9th April 2019.

  • The ISI 2019 Admit Card will be issued online on an official portal to candidates.
  • When the application is processed at ISI successfully admit card for the admission test along with the Registration Number will be generated.
  • The ISI 2019 admit card will be available from in the 9th April 2019.
  • Candidates need to carry valid ISI 2019 admit card at the examination hall.

ISI Result 2019

Candidates who attempt the exam can download the ISI 2019 result through online mode. ISI 2019 Result will be available on the official website.

  • In order to download the ISI 2019 Result, candidates need to enter their registration number generated at the time of filling the application form.
  • On the basis of ISI, 2019 entrance exam merit list for selection of the candidates for admission will be prepared.

ISI Admission 2019

ISI 2019 Admission Procedure will be Started in July 2019. The seat will be selected for admission on the basses of their performance in written tests and interviews conducted by the Institution. Candidates who got selected have to attain the counseling.

  • The final list will be prepared on the bases of qualification and verification of the original documents.
  • For Domiciled candidates of the North-East states of India 50% seats are reserved.
