OUAT 2018: Counselling, Rank Card, Cut-off, Admission Process

OUAT 2018 Counselling for PG courses is starting from 1st August 2018. University conducts OUAT entrance exam every year for the candidates for the selection of students in UG, PG and doctoral courses. OUAT 2018 Application Correction is starting from 16th March 2018.

OUAT 2018 Application Form for PG courses has been released now. OUAT Result 2018


Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology will announce the OUAT 2018 result on its official website. Through online mode, candidates can check their results. Merit list will be prepared on the bases of candidates score marks in entrance exams according to category-wise, academic record, and extracurricular activities.

OUAT Counselling 2018


OUAT 2018 counseling is conducted for the qualified candidates from 23rd July 2018 (for UG courses).  Students will be informed all details regarding counseling through the official website of the University. On the bases of merit list prepared admission will be given to deserving candidates. Merit for UG courses will be drawn on the basis of score of candidates in entrance test (50%), HSC examination (25%) and +2 Sc examination (25%). Candidates seeking admission for B.Sc. (Forestry) The course should qualify Physical Endurance Test which will be conducted one day before the counseling.

OUAT Admit Card 2018


Applicants applied can download their OUAT admit card from the official website of the University who have successfully registered the application for themselves. Admit card will be available from 15th to 29th April for UG courses.

On examination day, candidates must bring one identity proof, the copy of e-receipt along with admitting card. If any of candidates fail they will not allow writing paper.

OUAT Postgraduate and Ph.D. admit card will be received by approaching the Director one day prior to the exam.

OUAT Application Form 2018


 

Application form of OUAT will be available on official portal. Applications of OUAT can be filled in online mode. The application form for PG as well as for Ph.D. courses is available in offline mode. Candidates who wish to apply for application on offline can download and print the OUAT 2018 application form through the official site of the university.

  • The application form for PG and Ph.D. courses will also be available in offline mode.
  • Aadhaar card will be mandatory to fill out the application.
  • Candidates who wish to apply offline can download and print the OUAT 2018 application form through the official website of the University.
  • Candidates are suggested to send the application form complete in all respects to “The Director, College of Basic Science & Humanities, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751003” before the last date.
  • All the applicants are also required to submit the Form-B after appearing the exam. Form-B is required to be submitted offline with all the prescribed enclosures within the prescribed dates.
  • The correction in Form A has been started from 25th March 2018.

All applier is suggested to keep print copies of filled application form for further use. Candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- for the application form. The application fees can be submitted through SBI collect facility.

Eligibility Criteria


Check full eligibility criteria according to your selected courses wise because different courses have different eligibility criteria. Many times a candidate fails to know which affect them at the time of taking admission. Check all criteria whether you re eligible to apply or not.Candidates who are applying for UG and PG and Ph.D. Courses can check criteria. Eligibility criteria contain qualification criteria, age criteria and minimum marks required to enter etc details.

OUAT Exam Pattern 2018


In the question paper, a question will be asked from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Candidates are required to answer the paper either Mathematics/Biology subject. Objective type question should be answered by candidates.

Total 200 is Maximum Marks on the entrance exam. Candidates have to complete paper within 2 hours no extra time will serve examination hall.

 

Candidates can check the exam pattern of OUAT entrance exam 2018:

  • Subjects Covered: The question paper will consist of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Candidates are required to answer either Mathematics/Biology subject.
  • Type of Questions: The question paper will be of objective type.
  • Maximum Marks: The entrance exam will be of total 200 marks. For PG and Ph.D. courses, the exam will be of total 100 marks including 40 objective type questions and 60 short answer type questions. Viva-voce will be conducted further for Ph.D. candidates.
  • Medium: The medium of examination will be English only.
  • Exam Duration: The duration of test will be 2 hours.

The syllabus of OUAT entrance exam will be of 10+2 standard for UG courses. Candidates must prepare form given syllabus subject for the exam. Subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects as per their 12th syllabus.
