SMIT Online Test 2022 Application Form has been Extended till 15th June 2022 for B.Tech Program. SMIT stands for the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. The applicants who are interested in the B.Tech courses from the SMIT have to clear the Offline test.

The SMIT is also referring as the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology and this institute has conducted an Offline entrance test for the candidates to provide admission in B.Tech programs and the interested candidates can fill the Application Form of SMIT online mode from the official website of Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology also accepts the JEE Main scores for the admissions of the B.Tech courses.

SMIT Offline Test 2022 Application Form

The SMIT Online Test 2022 Application Form has been released from the official website and can be submitted online as well as Offline. The applicants need to register themselves on the website to access the Application Form. Once the registration is completed the applicants should log in to the website using the credentials.

• The application form can be filled by visiting the official website of the university.
• And to fill the application form, applicants need to register themselves on the official website of the university.
• Once the registration process is successfully done applicants will receive login credentials from the website on the registered email Id.
• Applicants need to use the login credentials and then log in to the official website.
• And then applicants need to open the application form.
• Once the application form is open applicants need to start filing the form by entering personal details, permanent & corresponding address, educational and academic details, etc.
• Applicants are instructed to fill the application form correctly and properly.
• Once all the details are successfully entered in the application form applicants need to upload the scanned photograph & signature in a given format and size mention on the website.
• After that, the applicant is instructed to pay the application fee and take a printout of the form.
• And then submit the duly filled application form.

SMIT Offline Test 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The information in regards to the eligibility criteria is as per below:

Applicants should have completed the HSC from a known university/board. Applicants who belong to the open category should have achieved at least 50% of the score in total in their HSC examination.

Applicants who belong to SC/ST & PWD should have achieved at least 45% of the score in total in their HSC examination

Also, applicants should have cleared the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in standard 12^th.

SMIT Offline Test 2022 Exam Pattern

The information related to the paper pattern will be helpful for the applicants to prepare for the examination:

• The test paper will have a total of 240 questions in it.
• The questions asked in the test paper will be MCQ type questions only.
• The applicants will get 2 hours 30 min to solve the complete question paper.
• There will be no negative marking done for this examination.
• The question paper will be based on five different subjects as mentioned below:
• Physics – 60 questions
• Chemistry – 60 questions
• Mathematics – 80 questions
• General English & General Aptitude – 40 questions

The syllabus for the Offline test will be related to below listed five subjects:

SMIT Offline Test 2022 Admit Card

The admit card (Hall ticket) will be released by the authorities in April tentatively.

Applicants have to download the admit card (hall ticket) from the website by using the credentials first and then the application number with the DOB.

It is relevant for the applicants to take two printouts of the admit card.

The applicants will also receive the admit card in the email but not through the post from the university.

The applicants have to carry the admit card along with the government id proof while going for the exam.

SMIT Offline Test 2022 Result

The information related to the results for the applicants will be released on the official website The University will announce the results in May 2022.

The applicants have to download a copy of the results from the website itself.

The result will contain the ranks that have been achieved by the applicants. The ranks will be based on the score achieved by the applicants in the Offline test.

SMIT Offline Test 2022 Counselling

Applicants who have scored well and the name is listed in the merit list are selected for the counseling.

The authorities from the university will be sending the counseling letters to the applicants who are selected.

All the details relating to Counseling and admission will be stated in the counseling letter. Applicants have to carry the supporting documents along with the medical certificate to the counseling center for verification.

List of the documents to be carried to the counseling center:

• Date of birth / Class X Pass Certificate
• Marks sheet of 10th pass exam
• SMIT B.Tech Hall Ticket 2019
• Original JEE scorecard
• Transfer certificate or school/college leaving certificate issued by the school/college. No other certificate instead of this will be accepted
• Conduct and character certificate to be obtained from the school/college letterhead/pad. No other certificate instead of this will be accepted
• Migration certificate from previous University/Board
• Sponsoring/domicile certificates for various reserved categories
• Documents as required for admission in Defence, North East, PMF, and NRI categories
• Four recent and identical passport size photographs
• Anti-Ragging Declaration forms (given in Appendix I and II) duly affirmed in front of an Oath Commissioner
