VITEEEVITEEE 2020 Application Form has been released on 27th September 2019. The entrance examinations for the top universities across the world also test the aptitude of students, in addition to verbal and analytical ability. VITEEE 2020 Exam is an Engineering Exams, it is Located by VIT University, Vellore. VITEEE is a common entrance exam for VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal. The VITEEE 2020 Admit Card will be released only for those candidates who filled the Application Form and submitted as well on time along with payment.

VITEEE 2020 Exam Pattern has been Released by VIT University. VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) will be conducting VITEEE 2020 for B.Tech admissions across the various campuses. The institute will offer 36 undergraduate (UG), 31 Postgraduate (PG), four integrated & 3 research programs.

The registration will be followed by both Online and Offline. Before applying for the registration form, aspirants are suggested to meet the eligibility criteria in the most suitable way. VITEEE 2020 Application Form 

Before filling the VITEEE 2020 Application Form, it will need to know the application steps being the only gateway to admission.

  • The VITEEE 2020 Application Form has been available on 27th September 2019.
  • Concerned officials at the website will generate the online VITEEE 2020 Application Form.
  • The Application Form will be downloaded by putting together personal and academic details in the correct manner.
  • After furnishing all details, you will be provided with registration no and password which is used as admit card no.
  • The next step would be to affix scanned Images of photo and signature to the Application Form.
  • OMR Application Form must be supported with printed envelope and sent to the Director-UG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore-632 014 via post.

Application Fee 

The application fee will be deposited through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.

  • The Application fee for the Online Application Form is RS. 970.
  • The aspirant may pay the fee to vie Demand Draft.
  • The Application fee of the OMR Application form will be RS. 990.
  • The fee will not be withdrawn.

The offline OMR Application Form will be accessed by the specified list of post offices in India or taking the DD with RS.1200 accepted by VIT University with their appearance from the following places

  • VIT, Vellore Campus
  • VIT, Chennai Campus
  • VIT-Bhopal (MP)
  • VIT-Amaravati (MP)
  • VIT University will also accept the applicants belonging to NIOS.
  • Those completing the application process by offline will not need to get it sent.
  • He mode of payment will be as NET Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Demand Draft (DD).
  • The offline Application Form will be of Rs. 1200 which will be paid through the list of post offices or DD in favor of VIT from campuses of VIT –Bhopal, Chennai, Vellore, Amravati.
  • The online Application Form will be of Rs. 1150 for general candidates which will be applied through NET Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/Paytm
  • NRI candidates & candidates who will choose abroad test centers will have to pay online for 50 USD.

VITEEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria 

Those who are founded to have their residence in India will be eligible for admission. That Resident or Non-Resident Indian National/PIO/OCI holder will also be taken into consideration.

  • The applying aspirants bearing D.O.B as 1st July 1996 will be
  • Eligible for admission.
  • Aspirants should complete their 10+2 or detailed examination from a reputed board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology securing 60% marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology will be singled out for admission.
  • Those pursuing their education as regular, full-time & formal education will be accepted at the time of admission.
  • The aspirants who are still completing their education can apply for the exam.

Qualification Criteria:

Qualifying Exam:

  • Candidate should pass 10+2 examination conducted by the State Board, CBSE and ISCE, New Delhi.
  • 10+2 or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
  • HSCE of the Cambridge University or IB Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
  • NIOS candidates are eligible to appear for the VITEEE-2020. They should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates should secure an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination.
  • The combined PCBE/PCME marks should be 50%.
  • Age Limit: Candidates whose date of birth fall on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible.
  • Nationality: The applicant will have to be a Resident/NON-Resident of India. Foreign candidates are also eligible.
  • Qualification: Class 12th appearing or completed candidate, intermediate or 2-year pre-university,  class 10th appearing or completed for foreign students, General Certificate  Education (GCE) examination at Advanced (A) level, NIOS board candidates can apply.
  • Subjects: Candidates appear in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English (PCME) will be eligible for all B.Tech degrees program.
  • Candidates appearing in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English (PCBE) will only be eligible for B.Tech & BIO-Stream degree programs (bio-engineering, biotechnology, CSE with Cpl. in bioinformatics & ECE with Cpl. in biomedical engineering programs.
  • Percentage: Minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology (PCM/B) in intermediate. Candidate belonging to SC/ST or hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and Northern, the eastern state must have a minimum of 50% score in PCM/B.

VITEEE 2020 Exam Pattern – Added Aptitude Exam

  • The exam will be held by the online process (Computer Based Test).
  • The questions will be of the objective in nature.
  • The question paper will be adorned in the English Language.
  • The questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology & English subjects.
  • A total of 125 questions will appear in the examination.
  • The exam will comprise three sessions.
  • The exam will be consisting of 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • One mark will be added for the right answer.

The negative marking will not be included in the exam pattern.

How to Prepare for VITEEE 2020

Candidates can check the preparation tips given below to prepare for VITEEE exam:

  • Candidate should study & should be focused on the Basic syllabus of class 11 & 12th
  • Candidate should choose the topic wisely.
  • Candidate should allot time for each subject & should take more time for the subject he/she is weak at.
  • The student will have to believe in themselves & should not have to get panic in any situation.
  • Candidate should attempt the entire questions from VITEEE 2020 exam as there will be no negative marking.

Exam Centers

The exam centers for VITEEE 2020 will be Andaman & Nicobar Island, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar Chandigarh, Chattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Hariyana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal.

VITEEE Slot Booking 2020

The reservation of the VITEEE 2020 slot machines will begin the third week of March 2020. A password will be generated at the time of the Application Form to reserve the place of the exam. With this password, candidates can reserve their location.

If a candidate can not reserve the place, the university will automatically reserve the reservation based on the information provided in the Application Form.

After confirmation, no candidate will be able to change their slots. The slot booking of VITEE 2020 will be done by candidates through the Online Test Booking System (OTBS).

VITEEE 2020 Admit  Card 

The VITEEE 2020 Hall Ticket will be released after the final stage in slot booking. The eligible students will get the admit card online.

  • The aspirants may load JEECE Admit Card 2018 from this page by using their application number, password
  • The admit card contains details such as admit card number, venue of the test center, test date & time selected by the candidate, candidate photograph, etc.
  • The students will be needed to check all the details furnished on admit card like their name, father’s name, date of birth, the application number, exam center, date, and timings, etc. carefully before downloading it.
  • The admit card will not be accessed by post or mail.
  • Aspirants must inform the university promptly if any difference seems to appear in the admit card.

The candidates will have to take photo ID proof along with the Admit card in the exam venue. Candidates should keep safe the admit card, it will be required at the time of admission.

VITEEE 2020 Result 

Those appearing in the exam will be able to view the results online from the website.

  • VITEEE 2020 Result will be Declared on 30th April 2020.
  • The rank will be disclosed to the aspirants via SMS.
  • There is no provision to send the result by post to any candidates.
  • By student’s performance in the examination, the merit list will be determined.
  • There will be no arrangement for the result via post.
  • By scores, the students will be eligible for taking part in the counseling.

The examination result will be declared in the last week of April 2020. At the time of result publication, the rank will be intimated through SMS on the registered mobile number of candidates.

VITEEE 2020 Cut-off

VITEEE 2020 cut-off will not be declared by the VIT University. However, VITEE 2020 closing rank would be considered as a cut-off for admission in various institutes of UG Engineering programs.

The university will calculate the percentile rank of the candidates by the performance of the candidate.

VITEEE 2020 Counselling 

The counseling occurs from the 2nd week of May 2020. The counseling process will be commenced in May 2020. The seats will be allotted to students as per the preferences filled by them, rank, category and availability of seats.

  • The conducting official will organize the counseling with the online process.
  • Based on scores in the VIT EEE 2020, the seat will be provided to the aspirants.
  • Once officials confirm the seat, the students will proceed with the payment process.
  • The selected students will be attending the counseling procedure.
  • The required fee for counseling is RS. Fifty thousand with DD accepted by VIT University’, paid at Vellore.

VITEEE Admission 2020

Admission to the university will be based exclusively on the VITEEE 2020 entrance exam. There will be no direct admission without showing up on the exam. For admission to B.Arch, candidates can apply through the NATA score.

It is mandatory that all original, relevant documents (such as the statement of qualifications, transfer certificate, certificate of conduct, etc.) be sent to the admissions office at the time of admission.
