JEXPO Exam PatternJEXPO Exam Pattern 2023 knows the candidates in the complete exam pattern that will be requested on the day of the exam. Candidates can prepare for the exam according to the exam template below. JEXPO is the statewide entrance exam for West Bengal.

The 2023 Examination will be held in April 2023. The written examination will be done by the State Council of Technical Education of West Bengal. It is also known as the joint entrance exam for polytechnics. Every year, many candidates participated in this exam to obtain a degree in the state polytechnics.

JEXPO Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates are advised to check the test pattern to obtain good grades and develop a strategy for deciphering the test. In this section, candidates can consult the full exam pattern of JEXPO 2023:

  • Course: Diploma in Engineering/Technology.
  • Mode of Exam: The Exam will be conducted in Offline Mode (OMR Answer Sheet).
  • Exam Dates: The examination will be held on the 4th week of April 2023.

Papers: The exam of JEXPO will be divided into two Sections.

  • Section-1: It will be conducted for Mathematics.
  • Section-2: It will be conducted for Physics and Chemistry subjects.

Types of Questions: Questions will be asked in the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Numbers of Questions: The whole question paper will be comprised of a total of 100 Questions.

  • 50 Questions will be asked in Mathematics (Section-I).
  • 50 Questions will be asked in Physics and Chemistry (Section-II), i.e. 25 for each subject.

Duration of Examination: The maximum time allotted for each paper will be of about 2 hours (120 minutes).

  • Session: The Exam will be conducted in two sessions, i.e. 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
  • Use of the Pen: Candidates have to use only a Black/Blue ballpoint pen to circle the answers.

JEXPO 2023 Syllabus

The JEXPO 2023 program will be prepared by the West Bengal Exam Authority. The complete program will consist of the 10th class program.

Candidates should study mathematics (for the first paper), chemistry, and physics (for the second paper). Candidates are invited to study their programs in depth.

  • Candidates will not be able to use graph paper, recording tables, calculators, cell phones, and other electronic devices in the exam room.
  • It is strongly recommended that students write nothing on the OMR answer sheet for any hard work.
  • Candidates are invited to arrive at the exam room within 30 minutes of the start of the exam.
  • Candidates may not leave the examination room without the permission of the Center.
  • Do not leave the examination room without submitting the OMR sheet to the shift supervisor.

  1. Is there any negetive marking in jexpo exam 2019?? How far i know, 1 mark will be deducted for every 4 wrong answers. Is it right?? Pls help mee
